First thing's first. I can understand why if you only read the first 20 chapters or so you would give it a negative review. Yes, our hero starts out as a punching bag. The story itself moves quite slow initially in terms of character and plot development and there is definitely some cliche harem stuff. I think at this point there are some 10 or so females that would settle down with him already. That said, I too would probably give the first 30 chapters about 2-3 stars. It's after about that point that things start picking up and the plot becomes more interesting. Furthermore, about the revenge: chill. It's not on the back burner, it's just a matter of our protagonist getting his ducks in a row.
