Mord (the MC) gathers an entire crew that acts as his own special forces team (the characters in the novel's image) in the first 300 chapters. He and his team later fights The Blood of Silver, Prexaras and other secret organisations while exploring different ruins and even the Demon Realm.
[collapse]Basically, so much happens that the novel leans more towards exploration and world-building. There are moments of character development but you have to keep reading it.Anyway, the story is pretty complex but eventful with no ending in sight as far as I can see. It however has great character moments and it's villains are great and help make the story more interesting.SpoilerMy favourite villain is probably Ibraseil, an archmage of the blood of silver who was once a member of the Golder Elf race but became human. She is hateful, manipulative but is also a driving force for one of the most impactful moments in the novel.
Harden Vernas is also a good pick for best villain. The guy is an absolute powerhouse. He not only took down Demon Kings single-handedly but also decimated Mord and his entire crew alone. This is the villain we needed in the Wano Arc in One Piece.
[collapse]Anyway, I'll rate this novel highly for anyone who wants to give it a try. Not recommended for those who like shorter, compacted stories though.
