Man I mostly kept reading cause I thought it had a high rating (misremembered) so I kept pushing off my dropping saying "it'll get better, especially when the infinite teased filler of meeting the original MC happens"... but 40 chaps in still hasn't met them, and it's only getting more stale. There is also a separate problem of Yong Library translations were it's obvious machine translation with editing. Sometimes names are blatantly different such as something like Phillip, Billup, Fillp; which are all the same character. On worse cases this happens in the same chapter. At first I was confused as I thought these were new characters with similar names. Pronouns are also occasionally messed up. Another reviewiee also claimed (for another novel they translated) they rarely sometimes skip parts of the translation story and it never made it's way in the story. This story started off somewhat good, but it is just in an infinite stalemate of repetitiveness. Filler is everywhere. MC as a broken op character never has any sort of real character development, endless bait of future plot (saving world, meeting MC, etc), foreshadow things without telling what THAT is while saying MC is know it all repetitively, et cetera.Frankly being in the family doesn't make much sense either as he could've left right away. It does make sense in some part as he would possibly need his family techniques to know how to use his powers, but knowing that his LIFE was apparently endagered too as it was revealed Spoiler
his father is using his endless talented children by making elixirs to preserve his youth by literal cannibalism.
[collapse] Yet despite knowing this he's flaunting everything, purposely drawing attention, not running away nor hiding once he got everything he needed; because that's what the sht plot revolves onThough the story does have some development if you could call it that, everything of this novel is honestly a blur from endless filler and repetitive events / plot arcs that are replaced like another pair of clothing. While writing this review I wanted to note that I do think this would've benefited from a manhwa format of spoonfeeding the contents to you with pretty art, but it turned out they did have it. I am a very avid free novel reader, but also of manhwas/Mangas. I've literally tried every1 that's hosted on the manga site I read on, so that means I've also read this manhwa. This means it was so sht I couldn't even remember it. Maybe the art was just too awful that I dropped after a bit? But most likely more story telling
