D'arby the Younger makes an appearance the moment they entered DIO's menacing mansion right after Kakyoin and Iggy's returned to the team and led them there.

Kakyoin back in the game! I thought he would appear in a moment of peril instead of just like that, but it’s okay.

I’ve seen screenshots of Kakyoin with sunglasses so it’s no surprise that he’s wearing them now but they’re pretty freaking cool.  Cheesy, but cool.  And even cooler is that if he takes off his cool-guy glasses, he has cool scarred eyes!  Kakyoin went up in the cool guy books due to his new design.  And as he arrived, not as a shocking trump card, but presumably as someone who will be integral to this next arc to make us appreciate that he’s back more than ever, so did Iggy.  The injured bros are back and the units together again.  After sharing celebration and another great silent bromance panel with Jotaro and Kakyoin, one that reminded me of his moment with Polnareff in Alessi’s arc, we entered Dio’s mansion.  All because of the mutt Iggy, he may have had a change of heart.



To admit, I honestly didn’t get as excited that they were entering the mansion as I would have expected myself to.  The way the door opened to invite them in reminded me of Cars and Wham’s hideout in Battle Tendency, but I remember freaking out at that moment.  You’d think such a long journey would make me more excited that the end is in sight, but I kind of had a “finally” moment instead. I think it's the fact that I'm somewhat expecting more of the same, stand battles with my usual amount of intrigue, only different scenery, until Dio is the only one left.  But with Dio lurking around the corner and inviting them in, a potential meeting with him or a surprise attack could absolutely occur, shattering formula, so I will hold my tongue because I could start screaming in excitement any moment.

Man, does Polnareff's legs look out of proportion when they encounter the building!

"I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE! BUT YOU'RE NO ORDINARY HUMAN! AND I'M GONNA KILL YOU!"

                        Is that really an illusion? That's a pretty darn good one. And if so, that's also a pretty darn good Stand.
