I Became a Drunkard in a Martial Arts Novel. Chapter 27 Discussion

Good idea, terrible execution. This novel feels like a mishmash of ideas.

Novel puts a lot of focus on the heroines that betrayed him and their regrets as the MC gets stronger and more confident. Which would have been a satisfying plot if it happened to our MC. It's become such a strange plot point because it happened before our MC transmigrated (the original body), so he doesn't actually care about it at all while the girls spend pages upon pages regretting.

The author honestly didn't put a lot of thought into power levels and combat of the story. Some things are super contradictory like the original body had a perfect body for martial arts, but apparently it didn't suit his family's secret arts so he's at the bottom of the class. But he's enrolled in a martial arts school; wouldn't they teach him some other moves and very quickly realize that he was actually amazing?

The drinking part is also just a plot device to give him power without working for it. I thought there would be more comedic value, but it's just a minor debuff that taunts people being mad about his drinking.
