Hol Horse has been thrown around by greater powers recently hasn’t he? First he twisted and turned for Dio once he saw his grotesque abilities. Now, he’s doing the same thing for the book of Thoth. It’s a power that is so overpowering he becomes a screaming buffoon. I wonder if there’s anything to read into the power of fate and the power of Dio both sharing a similar hold on Horse. And I wonder if fate would never allow them to win because the Joestar’s are fated to fight Dio and nothing can stop that. That's kind of what Phantom Blood was about.
But enough of that, Horse went insane. Threatening with an invisible gun, screaming constantly, spilling his money all over the floor, threatening to crack the skull of plumbers, all to shoot a phantom bullet through piping and take Jotaro out like a video game. Insane. Boingo stopped stuttering and got in on it, full of confidence to avenge his brother. I can’t help but root for these guys! I must have laughed at this chapter harder than most.
"I mean... it looks awesome, but hold your horses!"
