When it comes to humor within literature, I end up being a pretty petty person. Most of the time, when a work calls itself 'humorous' or has humor as one of its key points, I end up finding it a bit forced. For this and other reasons, "SSS-Grade Cafe in Front of The Dungeon" ended up getting my attention. As I really like the Hunters & Dungeons genre, the collection available for my reading is no longer so large, excluding works that have no translation or that have few chapters. For that reason, I ended up getting hooked here. This novel here, compared to most within this genre, despite having a lighter footprint because it has a protagonist who is not an OP character who slices grade-S monsters with an attack, manages to develop well within the genre by having secondary characters well built. The protagonist herself is captivating and made me want to read more and more chapters, rooting for her success. And one of the main ingredients for that is that she's funny, but without being forced. Even though the translation is still halfway done, the novel has already secured its place in my favorites folder. The translation alone deserves praise, as the reading is fluid and there are no problems that we normally find in other novels.
