Joseph gave us some really good diving advice that I'll take note for my future deep sea vacations. I'm a horrible swimmer and nearly drowned several times so it'd be unlikely but I'll take that in mind anyway. Polnareff and Kakyoin shared a bro moment and I finally understood his pun thanks to the translator's notes lmao

It sucked that Polnareff was nearly killed again because of Priestess turning into his regulator and having to get a slimy tentacle and a thorny vine go through his nostrils to extract a monster through his mouth. They're all screwed because she turned into the seabed itself and it's crazy.

A part of me thinks that the hand signal of Polnareff’s is going to come back in a crucial moment.  Anyways, Joseph knows more about diving than camels, I’ll give him that.  He gave the audience and the boys a lesson, and they had a good time as they fled the submarine.  That is, until High Priestess revealed herself as Polnareff’s mask, burrowing into his mouth with the plan to attack him from the inside.  Good thing we had Hierophant Green and… Hermit Purple to save the day through Polnareff’s nose.  On top of this being bizarre looking, I’m sure the thorns of Hermit Purple must have hurt.

Escaping and fleeing from the enemy stand made for an engaging moment.  It was revealed that High Priestess can transform into metals and glass which means the ocean is otherwise safe, but it had me worried.  We already saw it become a speargun, and I expected it to turn into a submarine or something.  At the very least, it probably can’t disguise as the Jojo squad.  What it can however is the seafloor as a frightening face, it evoked Pica from One Piece for me.

LOL at Araki admitting he doesn't remember what "BC" stands for.

I just checked-- it's "Buoyancy Compensator."

So, now I've read everything currently adapted into the anime. David Production has clearly improved upon the source material. It's almost scary how better the anime is but regardless, this is still the source of the creativity & humor that appeals to me in Stardust Crusaders, so this was still fairly enjoyable (despite feeling like a cliff notes version).

Eh, anyway, definitely looking forward to Egypt. The biggest reason I picked this up was to get to Diamond is Unbreakable quicker but I'm still pretty excited for the upcoming events. Heard pretty great things about the Egypt arc.
