The Former Wife of Invisible Wealthy Man Chapter 103 Discussion

I'll tell you now, this kind of novel isn't good for those who consider themselves consumers to the high class and well made books that deal with hard world building amazing authors spend a lot of their time on.

This is a CN (might I emphasise CHINESE novel) that deals with transmigration.

Obviously, it's not meant to be taken seriously. This is a superficial, feel good, wholesome, novel. It's what you read when your braincells aren't coming together or if you're in a dump just wanting read romance and can ignore the "unrealistic" -ness of it all.

Take in mind the fact that China is generally just a very toxic internet environment, some of the bashing is actually real. People who don't understand that have the privilege of not being an "influencer" (I use this term very loosely) or part of the entertainment industry where jerks can hate on you because they can behind the anonymity the internet can give.

That said, there are some issues with the characters themselves.

The MC and ML both act like love sick high schoolers who also just found out what having hormones in puberty is like. The scenes are wholesome and almost sickening, the romance is slow burn, and for the love of god. You're. Not. 15. Years. Old.

Oh, and also the fact that the MC gets everything on a silver platter. But again, that's the only reason I'm reading this. I don't have to think about the outcomes because obviously, the MC always has the upper hand. This is a straightforward plot with schemes that are literally just Regina George kind of mean. Not the "I'm-going-to-ruin-your-life-because-you-ruined-mine-after-I-ruined-yours-first" kind of schemes.

And really, those are the only problem I have.

The "seeing ghosts" thing is funny (and yes, folks, sometimes you don't need a why to every statement - it just is) and the fact that no one knew he was a CEO is kinda bs but whatever. I can ignore that because again, this is a read for the dumbos who's braincells have turned into mush.

The people who've read the novel complain that the seeing ghosts is unrealistic because there's no explanation and that everything media related is just not how its done in the Western countries but come on, when will you grow up and realize that novels like this just aren't for "realistic" people like you?

I mean, you understand how sh*tty K-Pop fans can be right? Or even the hate Taylor Swift gets for dating boys when Chris Evans doesn't get flak for the around 7 confirmed girlfriends he's had and plenty other unconfirmed ones? No hate but the sexism and unnecessary bashing is really pissing me off.
