Holly knows her situation but she is hiding it from the others, trying not to worry them. Joseph decided to baby her unlike when he yelled at her about being a 45 year old woman, and when she passed out the hurt he showed on his face was great, as we’ve come to expect from his heavy moments. For now, the Speedwagon foundation takes care of Holly, something which brought a big smile on my face. We love to see Speedwagon continuing to help the Joestar family, even if he’s passed away he is with us. And honestly, Kakyoin reminded me of Speedwagon here, admiring the compassion and strength of Jotaro and wanting to join him, and giving his heart to the struggle of Holly's, wanting to see her smile. He shares the 'passionate and goodhearted ally' energy in that way. Thus, the race to kill Dio in Egypt is on!
However, Dio seemed to emulate Hermit Green and traced the movements of the cast, already setting a stand user on the airplane they’ve started to travel in. A bug stand which is faster than a bullet with the intent to rip out its enemy’s tongue. Without knowledge of who the stand user is, which if they stay in hiding could say something about Kakyoin’s choice to announce his intent to kill Jotaro, it has tore through Star Platinum’s hand and into his mouth. Jotaro’s tongue is at risk.
This chapter also captured Kakyoin with the sun behind him once more. As far as I’ve known those kinds of shots have been strictly limited to him. Now leaving the chapters where Jotaro fought him, I have to wonder what it means, if anything.
