I only finished this because my finals were coming up and I needed a novel that I could stop reading whenever I wanted to. It’s pretty boring with the stereotypical cute MC and cold ML. Honestly I don’t think he should have won the final race. Racing is not something that improves with desire but with lots of practice and experience. It didn’t make sense to have Edward make an attempt to finish first knowing the MC’s character. Edward is a calm person and he would know that going against the team’s wishes might result in him getting kicked out and it’s not worth risking getting kicked out just to try. Both MC and Edward were only participating for the worst time and it was mainly to introduce them to the scene and support their teammates. So it really rubbed me the wrong way how he absolutely had to be first since he’s the MC.It’s not worth reading unless you’re a chronic procrastinator like me who’s trying to waste time and do anything but study.
