Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou (WN) Chapter 86 Discussion

Starts fairly strong in world and character building, but suddenly falls off a cliff as the story opens up. It's so abrupt you'd think that it was an entirely different person writing.

I stuck with it for quite awhile afterwards, hoping the writing would improve, but it became worse and worse.
