The first arc or first dungeon was great. It was really harsh and tragic, and set the mood for the entire series.... except that it doesn't. Almost immediately after the first dungeon, the series has a complete tone shift, and turns into a light hearted- harem-tr*sh- comedy.Yeah, it really does, with its masochist dragon onee-sans, sadistic MC, useless tag-along girl, loli vampire, and constantly being beaten bunny girl.Yeah, it turns terrible extremely fast. If you were to read it, just read up to the end of the first dungeon, because it goes down hill exponentially fast, after that.Basically, if you like tr*shy generic harem comedy, then you'll like it. But if you don't like that, then it will suck hard. Disappointing that the author decided to give in to what's popular to make more money/sales/readers then trying to do something unique. But this is Japan, and you can't attract readers without T and A and s*x fantasy fulfillment. Its understandable, because author needs money to live, but doesn't make the series any less tr*sh.
