What I appreciated of this novel was the harem-but-not-so-harem setting. The protagonist was very serious about the main love interest and, honestly, this fact that was estabilished early on was refreshing. For once I liked the main girl too.Spoiler
When the second girl was.. Let's say.. Phisically accepted, in the later chapters, it felt a lot like the author went "I'm nearing the climax of the story, let's give the readers a proper harem".
[collapse] It was unneeded, a bit forced and that, added to the excessive lenght of certain parts of the story, put me off a little.
