What novel got you into novels?

Sheild hero. I think the manga ended when sheild bro got the wrath sheild and I looked up the chapter after online which is how I came across my first webnovel.

The first novel for me was Jeeves. The series was really good and I loved the characters there.
The first light novel was Hakomari - Utsuro No Hako To Zero No Maria -
It's really like a drug. It gives you a headache at times, but you just get addicted to it so you can't stop reading.  

It was Coiling Dragons that kept me in the CN zone.

But honestly, it was Martial God Asura that brought me into the scene. First of all it's the name, it sounded so bad-ass way back when, and everything was so fresh, I had never read any cultivation stuff before that. It was all shouty-skills stuff from Jap manga. It's all cookie-cutter now, but it was a revelation back then. Cheers!
