Return of the Condor Heroes

It's the first Chinese novel I ever read, and indeed I read it as a way to learn Chinese.  Also, while I have read a few better Chinese novels, this title still remains my favorite of the bunch.  Having some really good protagonists and compelling conflicts goes a long way.  The English-language title is pretty bad for various reasons though.

Desolate Era

I used to love mangas and when there was almost no good ones for me anymore I decided to read some novels, just chose any one and thank god it was Desolate Era - a good one.

Probably would've gotten into light novels sooner, but was quite into scanlation at first. Got pulled in by Coiling Dragon after the golden days of manga passed.

Tales of Demons and Gods, then Coiling dragon, Stellar transformations, and the list goes on and on.

Lets see, I started with anime first for maybe 2 years?, then I realized that Rosario + Vampire (teenager years where harem was interesting) had more finished in the manga plus I hated the second season. So getting into manga I realized that the light novel for Scarlet Aria was way ahead of the manga so I transferred there. Once I got done with almost literally every light novel on Baka Tsuki (most of them still being harem.......... I blame myself), I started on Coiling dragon for CN because it was recommended and now here I am.

I'm pretty sure it was a Villainess novel or something similar. I was probably recommended it and thought: "Sure, an ojou-sama story will do well to entertain me as I download more games." And then three days pass and I've binged 5 villainess novels and my peers and teachers are like-

"...What are all these animu pics and words on your screen??? nani????"
