LOL sorry about that. I thought that this is still a yaoi or a Danmei thread. It became a bad habit for me. I didn't realize that I was using BL terms ML & MC. Moreover, I was too lazy [Noontime makes me feel lazy and hazy to be honest] to type  that my grammar seems all over the place. 

That's why even though I love romance, I have not read any romance novels in over a decade.
I only like stories like In Time With You.
I Need Romance 3 to an extent.
I prefer male leads with a heart of gold.
I am an ass, watching nice guys at least will make me dream a little

The author of that novel is an exception. She’s able to write pretty healthy romances.

I think of the novels on your list, OP, I’ve read one, and dropped it after 14 chapters. I hate MLs like what you’re describing, and have dropped a great many novels because of how much I hate the unhealthiness of the leads’ relationship. Sometimes, I’ll still read the novel all the way through, but it’s because I like other aspects of the novel enough to do so.
