Chinese glorification in CN novels

There must be a wide market 4 such stuff in China. I figure they'd more likely be nationalistic not cuz of any personal radical patriotic beliefs but cuz it's what most of their Chinese readers prefer. And it prolly pleases the cadre, too. Authors being pragmatic money slaves, methinks.

And that quote is a deleted review from Emperor of The Cosmos(?)

I can imagine, that someday in the further, some alien dudes got offended by some earthlings writing stories about how great earth is.

To do with profit most likely. And secondly for nationalism. Pretty sure stuff like that are regulated by the government to make sure there's no propaganda against them and their history.
Maybe some of them glorify it cause of their personal belief.

Just take it as FOX News written for teenagers ...

It's just the concept of Make China Great Again, or China First!

Add a tiny bit of censorship to it and a target audience of teenagers/young adults = what you got ...

The novels are, first and foremost, meant for a Chinese readership. Then when you consider the general population is controlled by the government in things like the One (now two) Child Policy or propagandized nationalism, it's integrated into them.

To be very honest, the most cringe worth propaganda I've ever seen involves someone dressed up in red, white and blue spandex with padding and running around with a plastic shield with a white star on top. At least the Chinese have not devolved down to that stage. lol.

I pity anyone who has to wear that and run around in public.

And people were complaining about Batman's NIPPLES. lol.

If it's their story, they are legally within their rights (if they own the rights) to nationalize their country. As far it being morally justified, that is another story.
