Guess the author gonna be sticking with a tank mc then... Also what chapter does mc gain contact to sanctuaries and gain their inheritance or technologies... yes, now that you mentioned it out: i missed the word earth on his post when reading for a reply and thus made a association with the original world where he was born in the game and thus wrote all of that. mistakes happen. about your own question:i stopped reading once the lasted arc started (world tree invasion) because by the looks of it is gonna be the final arc, the author have been pushing a ending vibe since a few dozen chapters back and skipped a lot of planned plot by jumping direct to world tree invasion, so is pretty much more or less set in stone that this is gonna be the last arc so i put it on hold until it's over, so i can read all together, this is pretty much chapter 1280-1290 where i a stopped and now there is 1350 chapter +-
the mc right now is pretty much the unofficial strongest because he is all rounder with his cheat abilities,about his stats the author have not pushed it from a long time, outside of one or two mentions when he got a new template, but only write about the template itself and not about his total stats, it became pretty much numbers by now and i'm don't recall them so i will try to give a info about his overall power standing: there is a few others that have been written as the same power the mc posses now that is pretty much top of the top so each organization have one or two who is on similar league as the mc but since they can not simple move-leave their duties, the mc became the unofficial strongest because he have freedom to act and only those dudes can really fight the mc now but again, they can not leave making the mc reign free in the outside world when the topic is power, but then again the last few chapters was a pretty much all politics, after the mc reached the top, everything more or less shifted to it outside of one or two brawls here and there to demonstrate dominance.
About treasures: the mc put his hands on sanctuary allowing him to obtain tech's from others interactions, tech's far stronger and powerful than current generation posses and he have been trying to reproduce-create them(in the last few decades-historywise) but so far the author have not show it yet, in my opinion he should be waiting for the tree invasion to drop everything and shows us but since i stopped at the start of it, i don't know.
just a extra :i disagree with Moneng, where there is not explicit romance in the novel like holding hands or courting one another most of the time there is multiples stances where we can see that their feelings to each other have evolved to a higher level mainly being pushed by the teasing of their subordinates earlier on, there was even gossip magazine talking about them, everything culminate in their mini travel arc where they pretty much had the "talk" behind the scenes and did a lot more than that too. where it clear implies later on that both dragon seat and the mc brought their relationship to the next level and becoming a couple and doing it multiples times in their travel is just one of the subtle but present effects of their travel, later on they more or less tried to keep it a secret but every now and then when they talk to each other both of them mention about their travel there with secrets talk etc , pretty much like secret couple already plus there is a lot of other subtle's clues besides the entire sex in itself like "involuntary" body contact between each other in public, the mc constant visits to dragon seat island with his teleportation technology and goes back to "work" afterwards and some small scenes of them talking to each other (maybe this is the way the author writes his romance about two super beings, very subtle). but yeah, romance is not the focus, both of them are 100 years old or more already and if the author keep the status quo where the mc will live here from now on, at best at the end will have a weeding or things along "they lived Happy ever after" and only that. Manison: the mc have not killed him so far, and i doubt he will, the mc have surpassed manison in power more or less with cheats like his regeneration and took pretty much control of the big league of super A association , but no, this does not mean that the mc can simple go a kill him, people have been trying this for centuries, even the big 3 and are not successful because Manison have hidden himself well enough with his millions and million of combat bodies spread between all the galaxies and a few other back hand moves as well , that would pretty much result in mutual destruction if someone ever try to go for him without a well and super masterful plan but manison himself never even leave his den that no one ever know where it is as well, outside of the sector-galaxy . So no one ever even had a chance to create a plan against him but i can say for sure that this is not on the mc plans anymore since as long Manison play by the rules and do not release his backhand's!! because the mc always keep in mind that tree invasion and does not want to lose powerhouses before it, if it was a few arc's earlier the mc would not mind killing him if the chances showed itself but after he got the treasures from previous interactions and other shit, the value of Manison in his eyes decreased a lot, plus there is a also a need to mention, that once you reach this class of fighter, like Manison-the mc, and a few others that i mentioned here killing someone is almost impossible , unless they use one of the 3 methods: all of the top group i talked here before gang up in one of them but no one would do it because they belong to different factions and have different goals in mind, and the second way is to gang up on them with wave after wave of super A and fleets following/circling the target to stop him from fleeing but the causalities from it would be immense and the last and mostly tried-used is to make a plan so good that is impossible for them to run away forcing them to a death match that in reality is pretty much a mixture both previous situations with few main fighters taking the target head on and the rest being a mixture of standard super A and fleets trying his luck with one shot here and there, mostly used as circling to stop the target and force him to fight to death and they keep it until the target uses all his power-energy. so pretty much all methods are impossible to achieve or too costly to achieve by a solo faction without paying a price that would cripple them, so unless someone do something that goes to extreme allowing all the rest to join forces against him to share the burden and to increase the chances of success !
Manison vs the mc fight's: before the mc started showing sign's of surpassing him and stooping the armed conflict between them all together for reasons i wrote above (pretty much Manison could not curbstomp the mc anymore and since he was alone there was no point in keep doing it, this was where their armed conflict pretty much stopped) , he robbed him of his biologic super A soldier cosmic treasure that allows the mc to study to obtain it's blue print, but this is taboo tech that is impossible for the mc use, and if i recall he also got his hand on his trident cosmic treasure for mecha use , not much but since later on the mc obtained sanctuary and legacy of previous interactions that have far more powerful tech, there is no more interest in looting him for treasure, what the mc really want with this fight's is to obtain manison templates and skills where i recall he got at least two notables ones from him: the ancient one that boost intelligence by a lot, and Manision exclusive template "tool nation" that boost the entire legion with bonus if i recall. The mc also freed some of energy bodies race from him, but not a lot, the situation of this quest is more or less on hold so far, because Manison have been in line for the last few decades history wise and arc wise so the mc can not find problems with him direct. (of course this is based until the chapter i read),
Yes but he won't be that important. Although early chapters potrayed him as soon to be big villain but he died pretty quick after his rebuilt and fought with MC somewhere in chapter 260++ , the fight are something to look forward to Oh yeeees and MC is pretty big name that time so you can imagine their regret. it will have a little arc about 5-10 chapters?
