Officially nothing has been said but there are a few pieces of tangential info:
MC has hinted Ye Clan at start of novel are unlikely to be his birth parents.A Demon Clan elder from Demon world confirms Yu Sheng is a Royal Blooded Demon - this is why Yu Shang never uses his life spirit as it will reveal his bloodline/ identity. Yu Sheng's dad was a "traitor" in the demon world and follower of Ye Qing. This demon elder is 90% convinced that Ye Futian and Ye Qing are related - this confirms the relation mentioned by Snow Ape at start of novel.Ye Futian's Tree Life spirit is extremely special and an "ancient god" life spirit - heavily implying its from an ancient clan.We learn there's a true world and an imaginary one - current 9 realms where MC is, is regarded as the imaginary one with an incomplete Dao. Real/true world has complete dao and many powerful people. This is where Donghuang the great and other people of his power are found so if Ye Qing was alive he would be in the true/real world.
Above are all facts, here's some SPECULATION on my part.
Given the increasing likelihood MC is related to Ye Qing, the fact Ye Qing disappeared 15 years ago and Ye Futian has the surname Ye (implying his father was called Ye - Chinese children take father's surname), then it's most likely Ye Qing was his dad (name, timeline and story fit).
MC might have inherited Tree spirit from mother's side. If mother's clan is an ancient one and assuming Ye Qing is his dad then they may not have liked Ye Qing - these ancient clans probably like pure bloodlines. So mother and father may have eloped but had to hide MC as the ancient clan will likely kill him because of his life spirit - if true this explains why he was told never to show his life spirit by his god father. We also know Ye Qing and Donghuang were good friends so Donghuang might have destroyed all info on Ye Qing to help hide Ye Futian as its unlikely Donghuang can contend with this ancient clan.
I may be completely wrong because Ye Qing - whose life spirit has not been shown - might have had tree life spirit but find that unlikely given he came from a backwater placeand its been hinted he was a beast tamer so those spirit eyes he gave to Ye Futian might have been his life spirit. Anyway take my theory with a pinch of salt, right now we have to wait for MC to travel to real worlds and then will find out more info about parents - if they're dead or alive and who the Ye clan at start are. We still don't know where these people are.

I'm up to date with raws, its mentioned by Donghuang princess that he's alive but imprisoned by her/them (Great Emperor Donghuang). Mister Du was Great Emperor Donghuang's book keeper and recorded his personal life. No other info and we'll have to wait until future where MC is stronger and can go explore more.

well as you read by the spoiler he got the position of emperor by betraying the real emperor in the secret realm who was the ancestor of the fml , so we can expect that he is very paranoid about a lot of things, so trying to cut a problem from the root is a very reasonable option, the fml part was just a desert since she was from the same lineage and in this type of novels as well "pedigree" is a very important thing so bringing her to his family could not only increase the crown prince pedigree but overall control of every faction so i could not call him really stupid because his choice to meddle with them is very reasonable even more when we put the seer guy who can read destiny and everyone knows that he read both of them destiny but is keeping them a "secret" and this only means problem for the current ruler of course so let's be logical, if both of them are not going to cause him problem why would he hidden? the only reasonable guess is that both of them are going to cause him problem or middle with the seer own life as well (as causing problem to him) but if this was the reality, the seer could ask the emperor for help ,something he did not do so the only option left is problem to the emperor himself!
the main beef i have with it and the only downside is about the methods he used, he gave too little credit to them after all they have not truthfully showed their potential for the world yet as i stated in the spoiler as well, so overall i believe is a good balance because with his current level against the mc and so on, if he did not make one or two mistakes is impossible for the mc's win at this stage and so the novel would end, so overall was a good writing in my opinion since it have reasonable cause-effect; the resolution is direct linked with the novel overall plot structure (concubines-crown princes-emperor degrees and so on) and have a very obvious flaw that the mc can take advantage off but that would not slap on your face as asspull! since not taking them serious enough because their own levels are so far apart is also a reasonable thing to do, he send one of his best expert that was the strongest guy on the entire city to make sure everything would work well.
the main downside of his control as that he did not really studied the fml enough since she was already the pedigree, and by what we know about his caution in future chapters and everything else, he should have been keeping a eye on her and her family something that he failed to do so, maybe because no one knows that he really killed the previous emperor!.

I just read chapter 1484 and I think the chapter was wack and this has been the same fuckery happening in the whole story. Accepted, Ye Futian is able to fight people who are a level higher than him. He fought with the Prince of a Supreme world who was a Nirvana plane cultivator, Ye Futian isn't close to Nirvana bu t he is able to display Nirvana plane power, my question is:
If Ye Futian is able to display power that is higher than his current level, why can't the prince do the same? Since the prince trained in a higher realm.
I hate the fact that they downplay character strengths to make Ye Futian seem superior.
