I read the shushengbar spoilers for this one (they are a lot ) but i'm curious about some things >.>

Did the former child emperor know that she was a girl?....who has the army seal he was looking for?
Also who killed her father?....and what happened to the former emperor in the end?
About her ex crush who didnt like her...did he ever confess to her in the end?

Thank you! <3
So the child emperor became her half brother in the end? (the ml sure loves her lol xD)
I think she said before that she used to sleep in the dragon bed a lot when she was doing homework, so i though maybe the emperor kid knew before....
Did they find the army seal in the end? (i doubt the mc will let them dig her father's grave)
And does anyone in the harrem try to make trouble for her after her beating?

uh.. consort that beat up the FL i guess her name is De Fei .. she committed suicide since ED were exiled to a buddhist temple and De Fei's father is rebelling and about to lose... De Fei tried to meet the ML but he's in a coma so basically the FL took control over the palace... lucky she's been raised as a son so she could take care some problems for a while but given that she's a bit lazy she beg the ML to wake up even using method such as crying beside his ears while fretting that the palace were surrounded.. the ML woke up  eventually and asked the "lies" the FL sobbing by his bedside while he's in a coma.. if i'm not wrongly remember the other concubines were just a decoration and then some were sent to some other palace in suburb so they can get as "healthy and robust" as the FL.. some stay and suffer through the FL routine of exercising and not wearing extravagance clothes, jewelries, and make up... it downsized the Harem cost... something ML brag in morning court among his ministers..

Anyone furious over the translation of Yan Ping's perspective? And I'm not talking about the translation itself - which is a fine piece of work and we need to show serious love for the translator. I'm talking about this moron's perspective at all. I knew already that I hated him, and I personally didn't need another chapter basically solidifying how much I hate that f*ck boy.

More on that guy's perspective - doesn't anyone else notice how much this fool's narrative is all about himself? He want's to say he's sorry, he says that he regrets his actions and choices in the past, but really its all about ME MEMEMEME AND M.E. When if he's truly sorry the narrative should  have need written in a 3rd person taking himself out of the equation and made it all about the woman he supposedly loves. Did I mention he never once properly took a serious look at the MC. To me at least its still a reoccurring theme. Before its in the self-absorbed, hate filled, and prejudiced glasses. After he loses the MC's adoring gaze - he realizes that he loves her. BULLSHIT! I can argue and say that no he still doesn't love her and that in the war he's considered just another pussy leaning on his daddy for authority. Unless he wants to get some of his own power - nobody is going for real going to kiss up to him like they used to do when he was much younger. He's now a man and  had to prove to whole world he is one. (To the readers and especially me; know without a doubt in my mind that he was powerless little bitch under his dad, and he's a powerless little bitch underneath the new emperor. Who by the way isn't all too happy with him, since the MC was his woman. Also, has been joneing and tapping her fine ass for decade and some change. She must be real good since even-though Emperor got a harem. She is the only one he will ever have to the point people say he's sick and can't put out and make a new generation.) Hence, him mourning the loss of the one person the person who sincerely and without guile loved him.

Did I mention this fool is so delusional that is hinted all throughout the story that he believes that the MC's love will forevermore be unconditional and all he has to do is to tell her he's ready to marry her. His constant disbelief at her constant rejection is - for real a stick at my craw. It isn't until he sees their child that he is now beholden to protect that his mind starts to crack. Where he goes into the memories of the past and begins to question how did things go so wrong. To that all I can say - from the beginning F*CK BOY. Also what the hell are you smoking? It's pretty obvious she's not really being treated as a prisoner, and the Emperor from the beginning wanted her to be his main honey. She sleeps on his own personal bed which UNHEARD OF in that time. Hell, when he goes in to propose marriage for the first time to her she's basically just walking away from his bed, where it was pretty obvious they did the nasty one the night before.

Also, it took you to see their kid for you to finally and fully understand that he's been doing some nasty, and kinky shit to her years. On top of that see that kid be crowned Crown Prince - to realize he had absolutely NO CHANCE AND HE ALREADY LONG AGO BLEW IT. Denial is strong with this one.

I actually don't like the male lead either, but I feel he is a lesser of 2 evils. At least he understands her better; from her complex about her homeland; her father's death; the way she can't believe in love because pf Yan Ping and the fact the child emperor she treats as brother used her then got rid of her; that he needs to be rough with her to get her to understand that its alright to mourn everything she's lost. He at least tries like a damn fucking dog. Yan Ping thinks that since she used to love him that everything would be handed to him a la carte with zero understanding that the person she tried to be around you wasn't really her at all.

Also I kinda wish the Empress Dowager that killed of MC's dad was killed a little more brutally.

@lazynoodles OH- will the author write about ML&MC kid ?? and may be Yan Ping will meet the kid ?

And idk why, it feels like the author trying to justified or make us less hate him what Yan Ping did to An Yi by giving us his POV orz

@alexfilia @kiara8 There's actually an epilogue about him from his POV. He did love her, but bc she was a "male" and he had his family responsibility, so he was in denial and tried his best to ignored her and those incidents unfortunately happened at her most difficult time (her father's death).
I think someone at shushengbar mentioned how it was unfair for him, bc ML knew MC was a female right at the beginning so ML didn't need to struggle like him...

It's been a long time that I've read it, but if I'm not wrong...
So at some night/ evening, MC tried to invited YL. She planned to confessed to him. But he was in the middle of trying to ignore her and also his father warned him not to get close to her family (the royals' had targeted her family). So he didn't came and she waited for a long time.

Her father was just came back from the palace and he heard of that. He scolded her, she stubbornly persisted and they argued. In the middle of the argument, her father coughed blood and died. MC thought that he died bc of her. So she promised to honour her father by not pursuing YP anymore.

In despair, she then joined the army in the war against ML's country. Then she was in some disadvantageous battle (she seemed to plan to die in that war). ML saw her and tried to stop the attack, she fell and had amnesia. That's how she ended up with ML.

When she woke up, she thought that she was ML's concubine and ML didn't deny it.
