Till the chapters( read till ch.170) that I have read, I can only make out that maybe ml doesn't remember (or something like that) that he came to the lower realm.
The reason why I think it is like this is because the stone ( that he used in the bet with his son) is something the ml got 5 yrs ago but he doesn't know from where he got that stone.
On the mc's side I think she only thinks that ml and her son's, both of them have same eye colour and some similar facial features but she doesn't realise that they are father and son.
I'm not sure why the ml doesn't know that he hooked with mc 5 yrs ago but what i know is that ml hasn't realise that he met mc 5 yrs ago.

It was mentioned briefly in the later chapters that she asked the ML when was the last time he descended on the lower realm (she suspects it too because ML and Xiao Bao are very similar)... it was before she was even born. Also, that man that forced her had red eyes (as far as I can remember, I'll re-check while translating), so I'm guessing that the ML has some problems in his body.
The experience was traumatizing for her, and I like how the MC blatantly asked the ML "Are you going to force yourself on me?" when he was getting hot but she's unwilling. He flinches back... and from then, tries his best to seduce.
Ex: She paints men in flimsy clothing, ML goes berserk because of it, ML willingly wears sexy clothing and poses for a painting.
Also there's a reason why he assumed that she'd fall for him, which is summarized as:
ML: WHAT ABOUT ALL THE WOMEN THAT WERE THROWING THEMSELVES AT ME!? WERE THEY LYING!?

- The slag prince is the brother of the white lotus.
- Because the slag prince stole the 3rd prince's fiancee (he calls MC master), the 3rd prince has beef with him
- When the slag prince saw how beautiful MC was, he wanted to take her as his woman. The fiancee got upset so as a result, the slag prince striked her and made her head explode.
- After MC's son defeated him, MC kicked him into the forest. The 3rd prince thought MC was going too easy on the 2nd prince (he's a prince of a different country), but then MC explained that she actually damaged his spine, which basically ruined his lower half and made him crippled. She also poisoned him.
- The white lotus is a princess whom killed a girl she was with because the girl formed a blood contract with the heavenly beast egg she found (the girl wanted to give it to her brother so she didn't want to give it to the white lotus. In MC's first life, she got the egg but gave it to the white lotus after seeing that the white lotus look like she really wanted it). So because of this, the white lotus cut the girl open and drank the blood from her dantian in order for her to become the new owner of the heavenly beast (I swear this white lotus has some thing for drinking blood and eating the flesh of people).
- Later when the white lotus went after MC's son, MC found the dying girl. The girl gave MC her bloody bracelet and wanted her to give it to the person whom she promised to marry a year later.
- When they go through the inheritance of the heavenly musician (MC gained a space, she can bring people in it), MC's son found a book and asked MC what a TV and airplane was. Apparently, the heavenly musician was originally a transmigrator. Thanks to the inheritance, she also learned how to do medical surgery (like cutting open limbs and repairing it).
- The only reason why MC accepted the inheritance is because of her baby (accepting this inheritance will bring MC great danger, that's why she originally wanted to decline it). Because her baby is a immortal, the realm they're currently in isn't good for him, so if they don't get him to the upper realm in 10 years, he'll die.
- ML at first wanted to kill MC, but after seeing her, he becomes smitten. Not only because of her beauty, but also because of her temperament.
