Thank you so much for the spoilers, I know she'll get better since there is no tragedy tag (thank god). But still, some parts radiate sadness, she never got any family affection after her mother's passing and that sucks. She was literally abandoned and left to die, can't wait for the retribution!!!!!

Thank you for the spoilers. I'm really interested with this novel since I feel the MC is kinda withdrawn with her life. I want to see her life as a character in the novel.

Night market date!
Chapter 18
Diana asks Richard why he’s trying to find the flower for her. She asks if he loves her. He tells her that he doesn’t have to answer her question. Diana thinks to herself that it’s probably because Richard is projecting his life on her. He regained his wealth and family whereas Diana has lost everything.Richard tells Diana that he went to an auction hoping that the flower will be up for auction but it wasn’t there. Diana asks him if she can join him next time since she’s never been. He’s surprised at how little  experiences Diana has since she’s also never been horseback riding either. On nights when there is an auction, a night market is also held. Diana wants to go immediately because in her mind, she doesn’t know if her body will be able to make it until the next auction/night market. Although Richard is hesitant about allowing Diana to attend the night market because of her weak body, but he allows it at the end.Chapter 19
On the carriage ride to the night market, Diana asks Richard if he’s annoyed by her request. He responds “I can’t say no, but don’t worry. I’m thinking of today as a day to cool off.”Diana stares at Richard and thinks that Richard doesn’t seem like a villian. In the novel, he was described as a common-sense person until love made him crazy. When Richard asks Diana why she’s staring at him, she tells him that she thinks she got married well lolRichard tells her that her stare is burdensome so she needs to stop staringDuring the ride, Richard notes that she looks happy. Diana tells Richard that it’s been years since she made an outing for personal reasons.Diana thanks Richard again. Richard stares at Diana with wind flowing through her hair. Richard tells Diana not to thank him since he hasn’t even done anything for her yet.At the night market, Diana drags Richard by his hand and forces him to listen to a minstrel poet who sings songs about things they’ve heard and saw.Richard is visibly uncomfortable but he’s sweet to Diana by having her sit on his handkerchief. When the poet starts singing, Diana realizes that the song is about her life. It’s about the story of a woman who was abandoned and abused by her family and met a husband who barely understood her and eventually died of illness.Diana gets upset because she realizes that her death is inevitable within the novel’s story no matter how much she wants to live. She thinks that the poet sang the rules of this world. The rule that you can't escape the original work in the first place.Chapter 20
Richard is worried because Diana’s condition doesn’t look good. When he suggests leaving, she refuses because she doesn’t know when she will feel ok to come back to the night market.Diana sees some street food that looks similar to the world before she transmigratedRichard thinks it’s not food fit for a duchess but she insists. Diana buys some for her whole group and gets Richard to try some too. He asks her when she’s tried street food when she’s never been to a night market before. She tells him she read about it in a book. Before he can ask more, she grabs his hand and leads him to a bonfire where couples are dancing.Richard and Diana make eyecontact and he asks her if she wants to dance. She says no, she’s just looking around. On the way back from the night market, Diana thanks Richard again. She thinks that today will be an unforgettable memory until the day she dies. Richard tells her that when an auction is held again, they can go together. She tells him he can’t take back his promise and he smiles at her.
