So, apparently zhong qianqian had lukemia as a child so they did a bone marrow transplant with nuannuan. Afterwards the jiang shuwan person figured out that she could get rid of nuannuan.
She couldnt get rid of her before because nuannuans mom didnt trust her father etc so she made a will that gave all her wealth to nuannuan with her father able to use a portion of it to invest and do business but there were strict reatrictions like nuannuan having to pass doctor physicals and having dna tests and physcological evaluations in order ro ensure that her daughter was well taken care of. So basically they had to take really good care of her.
It gets a bid weird here cuz i never heard of a person having the same dna using hair or blood to test as someone else but in thw beginning they say that qianqian and nuannuan have 100% dna similarity .... which is apparently because of the bonemarrow transplant. Afterwards jiang shuwan arranged for the kidnapping...  nuannuan father didnt know and tried hard to look for her because of the will which is also why they have to pretend that jiang shuwan is her mother because they have been pretending that qianqian is the daughter of his dead ex wife.

In the translated chapters she is alwaysbtalking of Viper, Kings "Right Hand", so she automaticale believed it is Kings order But in the raw chapters Till 1300 it looks like Viper and Kings uncle are Planung a conspiracy behind Kings back and King is also Kind of suspicious of the. Viper also Set a killing order on Sister Yue... It was also behind Kings back. So I think it is the same when it comes to Nuannuan or King was already REALLY dead by this time

I'm only at 285, can't MTL because it's hard to do. The words are stacking together and too messed up for my small brain to understand it... 

while i do despise the father and wish for his quick demise along with the Jiang family, i think he's somewhat of a pitiful character too. im reading the 660s-670s and you get quite a lot of his past. He also mentions about how he should support Nuannuan this time atleast and gets angry when the jiang family calls her a bitch. he is also atleast aware of the favours he owes her and her mother. the root cause is the Jiang family who forced him to be under their foot all the time right from when his parents died. when he also finally found a 'true love' he had to give up well 'his ideal life' because of their threats. now i'm not trying to justify his actions or character and he's done a lot of despicable stuff, and if it was not his selfishness and heartlessness he could have been able to achieve his ideal in the past. but he too i believe would have lived a much happier and honest life if it were not for the Jiang family. i think he has that potential in him if not for his circumstances where he decided to make the bad decisions. In contrast to the pure evil of the Jiang family who do not have any redeeming points.
I think some of the comments here are hilarious and indeed low IQ villains appear like whack-a-mole XD and the 5th question spoiler? LMAOOO
what i don't like about these stories is the very 1D villains especially the women. they're usually so full of malice and 0 IQ as if the only purpose in life is to destroy MC and/or snatch her fiance (which is infact their true purpose). i wish there were smarter villains who knew when to retreat properly not just after the MC has decimated them due to their consecutive stupidity. Like the first two times their attempts fail they could just have enough sense and reason to know that theyre being stupid and illogical.

On another note, request for spoilers:
1) around what chapters will the her maternal family find out about her?
2) when will she tell Chi yang of her mercenary identity?
3) when will she finally get out of school?! someone said that they don't get married even after 2000 chapters. I believe chi family would have arranged their marriage right after she graduated from school? do i can only infer that she's a student still?
4) ah does chi yang get healed completely with time? he seems to have some serious medical issues going on.

I also felt a little bad for the Ye guy, the adopted son. Yeah he did have a black heart and if he were any nicer he would appreciate what he has like the care of the Leng commander, but still he mentions how the grandparents treated him badly? even if the father looked after him as his own, he must've barely been home due to work and he also failed to recognize these things properly, it's easy for a child to feel inferior and unwelcomed. i do understand some of where he comes from despite his evil deeds. and i wish these things were addressed better rather than in passing.
