Shadowy Wedding Day with the President

Great!! Then you should read Chinese author Chestnut novels. Most of the stories are about common people, they aren't big shots like CEO or underworld mafia. Even if they are, they do have personality, not like those ice blocks with facial paralysis lol It feels like characters are real people we meet on daily basis.
My favourite Chestnut novels are

*Sonata: Fleeing to Avoid an Arranged Marriage
*I seem unsuited for dating
*Marriage Concerto (Small Thing Called Love)
*Hear My Heart: My World Falls into the River of Love

These are are favourite ones. There are comparatively smaller and less complex than other Chinese novels. But you will love it.   
Do you only like novels with modern settings? I usually read historical and fantasy genre.

List became quite long lol I'm quite enthusiastic when it comes to novels and webtoons recommendations. Here are some of them I hope you like it.  

Im not really picky with the origin of a novel. I do not mind Chinese or Korean as long as they are good.

I loved it in the beginning then All the male characters disappointed me here
Sorry I have to rant and get my frustration out.

ML did nothing after so many times his grandfather tries to harm his wife and always tell her be obedient and not unreasonable when she shows jealousy or tell him that former fiancé is interested in him.


Slag#2 when all the other characters  found out that enemy daughter is not actually his enemy but benefactor, all of them say oh now they can peacefully be together now(Imagine my disappointed) I only finish the slags story because I wanted girl end up with other boy, the painter appeared only 4 chapters but he stole show and David rooting for him all the way, he was ready to take care of her son like his own and treat her nice ( I thought she ended up with him because he was logical option) 

Thanks for the spoiler. Now that i know this novel is not my cup of tea, i am going to drop it 

Wow thanks! I have read a lot of these becuase I like Chestnut and similar authors like Gu Man as well. I will definitely check out the rest~

Do you know any novels with a good story? No slag ML, no stupid FL lead, no step mother author, no rapey, it doesnt even have to be a CEO. I want to read something where the nice girl falls for the genuinely nice guy. It can have all the drama and what not but non of this kind of slag/scum nonsense.  Poo CEOs and Presidents, they are more common on the street than nice guys.

Oh,what type of novels do you like? Do you like korean novels? They have very good plots. And for Chinese novels I do know alot of stories which aren't very typical Chinese novel plot like, I don't know whether it would be of your liking or not..
