Description:
On the distant Tianxiu Planet, there exists a group of unusual and intelligent beings. They consist of neither children nor elders. They have neither birth nor real death. They are born into the world through an extremely special process, and have managed to keep their fundamental memories of survival through their endless reincarnations.

They are the Tianxiu people.

For every Tianxiu person, if they find someone they like and want to bind as partners with each other — then they would have to go through a life or death Adult Ceremony. The winner of the ceremony will become the absolute dominant in this spousal relationship.

While the defeated one, will be referred to as — Qizi.

Hmmmsounds interesting but would have to wait and see the details on what exactly happens during the ceremony.

I see... It's interesting that the adults take the stance of "Oh, we respect your feelings on finding a spouse/remaining a Nestling," but still push them to become adults. I guess it's because dying as a Nestling is dying for real.

Thanks for the clarification!

Not just no mpreg, no preg in general. No adoption. No fostering. "Newborns" seem to already be self aware, just lacking knowledge.

Agree with that lovers suspicion too

I like that too if only I didn't get mislead by the name of the characters a few times when I MTLed  I remembered crying for the side characters though in earlier chapters I will MTL again after my brain cleared a bit from the previous effect

Basically, that stuff the female teacher's qizi said about voluntarily giving heart-tip blood to the person you want was all lies. If someone tries to take  another person's heart tip blood, they'll fight back like crazy, no matter how much they love that another person. Since someone trying to take your heart tip blood is worst  than that person trying to kill you. It's reflex--basic instinct that cannot be overcomed. Since Ping Zong was stronger than Lan Sheng,  he ended up winning the Adult Ceremony even though he hadn't planned to.

It is indeed very obvious when you read it and it is a very *cough cough*  good read. MC is a darling.

Yeah, they had been partners in past lives, in fact, for more than one past lives.

Zhu Yue likes Ying Feng very much, but the Tianxiu people is a nation designed for battles and combats, so they look down on people who are weak. Zhu Yue is abnormally weak, so Ying Feng really had no interest in him. There is a reason why Zhu Yue is weak, it's genetically related, so it's not ZY's fault, but he is a very twisted person with a very twisted mindset lol..... you'll see eventually

Well, it happens pretty soon, like around chapter 15... I hope you don't get too connected with them yet around that time?

Btw about the grading of feelings (between a couple in the bond) this is according to MTL so

10 is to nod and say hello, 20 is the level of discussing a common topic, 30 is consider the other party a friend worthy of contact, 40 is a buddy to go out to drink, 50 having dark feelings, 60 daring courage, 70 is love,  80 is a short absence feels like forever apart, 90 is willing to live and die together and 100 is to sacrifice the life for the loved one.

I think the ML and MC start out at like 10, lol

I'm okay without heartbreak. Tragedy is not my genre.
