the mc makes medicine with some non sentient roots of his ....but if he takes someone's errr essence (in this case ml's) he can fertilize them to become real babies 

ML says he sent people to investigate and found out that Roy caused the explosion and killed the people on his spaceship to fake his death/switch MC for himself. At this point, Roy stutters out that he's engaged to ML and and has the ability to give birth unlike MC. MC is too upset and runs off at this point, and ML follows after him. 

Is the mc possesed other people body? I thought he fell into space time crack with his own body? Mtl not very clear here...
