Spoiler: Summary chapters 19-26ML goes to sleep with Empress Adelana (they have been lovers for a while. She is the 2nd empress after the deceased 1st empress. She has 1 young son, Prince Kaire). But obviously he was only pining for FL. In the 3 years he was away, in his correspondences with Kisset he only ever asks about FL and not the Empress. Empress is quite desperate for ML.

After spending the night with Empress, ML bumps into Crown Prince Alexion (emperor’s eldest son and half brother to Carl). Alexion asks ML what he did to Carl. ML basically kidnaped Carl. Tells Alexion to ask Carl to bugger off he wants to keep the rest of this fingers. ML chopped off 4. ML is jealous(?) of Carl because FL likes him.

Just some colour, Alexion is Crown Prince to succeed the Emperor when he dies. But the Marquis has a strong following so Alexion hates the ML and there’s a power struggle in the succession.

Fast forward a couple of days later to the FL executing mass. She goes into a private prayer room. ML looks for her there since he technically lured her there. Forces himself on her again (fingering and dry humping). This was during/after mass so there were people listening in...
Spoiler: Major spoilerFL had a miscarriage and kinda goes insane.

I bought the novel on Ridi and MTL it. I’ll give spoilers in parts until the end of the novel (there are side stories which I will not include). It may not be super accurate as it’s based on my interpretation of the MTL (hard to read).

Btw this is not a fluffy love story.... don’t expect romance. Gets quite dark and it’s not a happy ending. There’s a lot of 18+ content. As a precursor, ML is obsessed about FL and FL is a product of incest so she has a lot of behavioural/psychological issues.

I’ll start off after chapter 10. Also I think there’s some error in the translated versions online. The emperor is not dead (yet). He just had a seizure.

Spoiler: Summary chapters 11-18ML Marquis goes off to war for 3 years. In the meanwhile FL Ilcilya matures well (beautiful and happier than her previous life). She forms a close friendship with Carl (illegitimate son of the current Emperor from the 1st deceased empress). He’s in love with FL. They meet quite often at their usual/secret garden. I don’t think FL lead is in love with him but she definitely has a crush/likes him. No 18+ stuff happens between FL and Carl. She’s the emperor’s concubine so has to keep her virginity for him.
Marquis comes back from war. He finds his ally/godfather, High Priest Kisset. He asks the Priest to make Ilcylia lead the upcoming mass. At this point the Priest figures out that ML is somewhat obsessed with FL. The same night ML went in search of Ilcylia at the garden (ML employs people to keep track of her. He basically knows everything about her). He knows she would be there as she had promised to meet Carl there that night after a prayer session. He finds her & basically forces himself on her telling her that he thought of her all the time - every time he ate/slept/killed/embraced someone as if he was a madman. No s3x just heavy kissing. FL is kinda scared of him too. Tries to fight but ML keeps getting her. 

Spoilers anyone...someone? Please and thank you in advance. 

I just want to believe what you said but when u read the full novel and when u reach the ending you'll understand that miscarriage didn't drive her to the madness (we can say it could be a factor but not the sole reason) it was her killing the second male lead, when u read the novel you'll understand what kind of position he has in fl's heart, she was too emotionally dependent on him so killing him really made her go insane and the killing scene was too brutal

And that male lead never tried to heal her in the end of the story, just forces her down when she throws things goes insane, ties her down when she has seizures (?) And sleeps with her sometimes she also invites him to sleep with her, according to me that environment will only kill her, and not to mention the servants don't go near her she is alienated 

She had a thing for 2ML? 

Spoiler: SpoilersIt's 3:30 am and I'm serious I have never read such a messed up novel in my whole life. Even though I have read few dark novels this is the worst.

1) the male lead and female lead are really is messed up, all the characters are messed up too.

2) the plot is just that the male lead has this crazy ass revenge against the Imperial family, it would have been okay if he had taken over the throne but he didn't in fact he continued to control the whole empire by standing behind the newly crowned emperor. Just like how Charlize did.

3) The second male lead goes crazy because he saw fl sleeping with ml and he becomes a tyrant and participates in a civil war.

4) he came to fl who was saying inthe house of the ml and tried to take her but while struggling she ends up killing him and miscarriage happens

5) it is slightly hinted that the fl will soon die from depression in the future thi it's not mentioned she dies directly but when u read the whole novel and come at the climax, see how she behaves and her mental health detoriates it's understandable that she is going to die

6) she's literally locked up, she has seizures, starts to have auditory hallucinations in the last chapter if I'm not wrong and looking at the time period, there is no way she can be healed so yeaah that's it

Nothing happened. Basically Male Lead was revenging against the Royal Family cause they destroyed his family (something was mentioned about his mother, she was assaulted or murdered, I don't remember much as it has been quite a while since I read it
and I also skipped many pages, also the Mtl was pretty hard to read) this is why he was targeting the Queen and having an affair. The child of the queen was his son as the queen said (as I said, maybe I'm wrong but I'll spoil what I seem to remember) born out of the ongoing affair, but he killed the child - the Prince in front of the nobles saying if it was his child he wouldn't be able to do that (or maybe the Queen was just using it as an excuse to hang on to him), although there was a trial in which they both were suspected of having an illicit relationship and the Prince's origins were also suspected.

Anyway, what I remember clearly is that after the trial the Queen was imprisoned and she jumped from there, after ML roughly pushed her away and mocked her, his goal of destroying the Imperial Family was about to be completed, everyone died in the Imperial Family including the Crown Prince who was FL's friend (he also asked her once to run away with him but it angered her cause she thought he wants to destroy her life as even if they run they neither have money nor that much knowledge of the outside world, they will be likely caught and she will be executed).
He met her after the revolt feeling betrayed and was angry with her as she was staying by the Duke's side, his jealousy and anger intensified when she pleaded to him to let her live as she has a life in her womb, so he pushed her or something and that's how it was here she lost her child.


The ML saved her and the CP was killed, in the ending, it was shown he was sleeping peacefully holding her (he would've become the Emperor), she opens her eyes and walks towards the balcony? thinking of suicide and she tried as well but halted her plans in the end saying she wouldn't be able to end her life not could she free from this labyrinth in which she's trapped.

I think she was referring to her imprisonment as a labyrinth cause whether here or there, she was always locked up in both places. There cause of religious fanatics and here cause of a twisted man's unhealthy obsession.
