Yeah I loved it because while at his death bed will be thinking that he is the winner of life but the mc and empress will be mocking his self-righteousness because they were never willing to give their love to someone who would stay in flowers.

To be a virtuous wife and eight treasure (I forget the full title) I think they are written from the same author. 

I'm not sure how close she got to them prior to the last few chapters, because I only bothered to read the ending. Her older sister was probably disposed of because she wasn't mentioned again in the last chapters. She was shu-born anyway so it was unlikely that MC's parents would kick up a fuss. The ones who came to the fourth imperial son's ceremony were the MC's father and mother, who was the furen of their residence. I doubt her mother knew she was no longer the original though, but she was just very relieved that her "daughter" turned out fine and was able to thrive in the imperial harem. Her father resigned and got a honorable title without real power, but because of the emperor's favor, many people wanted to make marriage connections with MC's maiden family. 

Could you give us spoilers regarding the empress and concubines thoughts when the mc’s son was made crown prince?
By the way, is Nobel consort Shu still around at the end? 

I thought she was a pr manager/executive for some company that, along with other things, sold milk products (I'm assuming stuff like baby's formula). I was responding to some people who said or asked if she managed celebrities.
