Yeah, Fero is met with a lot of suspicion by Phoenix w/ the interview because he came to the team to purpose a deal of more wealth for the team but he never once touched the topic about money during the interview. So Phoenix knew that wasn't Fero's true purpose for visiting them but they couldn't turn Fero away b/c he had legally gone through the adventurers union to get to them. Take your time w/ spoilers b/c yaeh vol 3 is almost a 100 chaps lool. Lmk if you want me to help cover some chaps with you!
I've basically MLTed the novels but I'm still currently reading Volume #3 (because Vol.3 is very long ;; ), but there 5 volumes currently out (Be warned, I don't know Japanese so I relied on Google translate and also I may forget some things ;; )
MC: Reme (Black mage but wants to be a hero) Remegeton (Reme's dungeon nameme Party members: Phoenix (Flame brave/hero, best friends with MC, has contract with flame spirit) ---> one of the four main spirits other than Arashi (Storm), Lake (Water), and Mud (Earth) Aruba (Alvar??? IDK english ;;, warrior class, has special sword) Lily (Hunter elf, uses arrows) Lark or Luck (Knight with good defense, mainly uses shield) Bella or Vera (Ice brave/hero, replaces MC after leaving the party, also uses holy sword) MC's party is in 4th place. They finish capturing 4th layer of the "impossible/impregnable Demon King's castle". Aruba complains about MC, he also asks the opinion of the Lark and Lily. Phoenix scolds Aruba. Lily dislikes Aruba's attitude but that doesn't disagree that the party should focus on flashy attacks and help Phoenix's popularity rise in order to become 1st place. Lark is usually lethargic/sleepy and doesn't care much about it, but also does not disagree with Aruba. Aruba then taunts MC to use his black magic to him. MC decides to leave party. Phoenix run after him but MC assures him that he will be okay. MC promises that he will be an adventurer/hero that will surpass the party. Aruba says no one will ever accept him. 2 weeks after, MC still has not found a party/job that will accept him. Because only a brave/hero can form a party. Black and White mages aren't very popular because people don't understand or can see how they work. People tend to like flashy powers and the dungeons currently are for entertainment, (demons and human are no longer at war with each other). MC gets hungry, he finds a small stall with a guy (I forgot the name I think it was Blitz/Binz) and a subhuman (dog/human named Kash/Cashew). Cashew was getting scolded a man because she insisted that the fruit was delicious despite it being deformed. MC goes to the stall and asks Cashew which product being sold is yummy because he is hungry. Cashew gives him the deformed fruit, MC eats and says that it's very yummy, Cashew is very happy. MC buys more fruit and Cashew says that she will wait for him to come back. MC becomes good friends with Cashew and Blitz.

The scene starts with Lucy telling her demon staff to go forth and battle. Everyone is there, including MC's adventurer friends dressed up as demons. Scene shifts to the adventurers opening the door to the 10th layer. There are 8 adventurers left: Aerial, Yuan, Helvor, Schaha, Suri, Hamil, Wraith and Franc. They are greeted by MC. Suri immediately tries to shoot an arrow at him. Something stops it. Suri is shocked. MC thanks demon hunter/archer "Strass" (is actually Lily in her demon avatar). Other demons start showing up. Leraje shoots poison arrows. Kimaris (the necromancer boss) fights with Yuan. Helvor gets bitten by a black youth. Invisible enemies starts appearing because of Glasha Labolus (Kimaris' subboss). Etc etc Schaha is surprised by how many MC can summon all at once. Helvor is also amazed and says that it's fun to fight the other bosses again, she also wants to fight Calmira and Hagenti again. Wraith laughs and says it's also fun. The only one standing and not fighting yet is Aerial. He asks MC if he can fight him here. MC says that he will only fight after his subordinates are overthrown. Aerial smirks and says that he will. Strass says to MC to leave this battle to them. MC tells her to defeat Suri. Strass smiles and says definitely. MC then teleports using a transfer stone which transfers him to a hidden room for staff members and exits there to go to the 2nd room. When MC was about to leave the room, Hamil tries to stop him using a sword slash, but it failed getting to MC. Strass immediately shot at Hamil back, but the arrow was blown away by Aerial's gush of wind move. Aerial keeps Strass at bay with the wind magic and makes her unable to move. He tells everyone sorry and that he wants to fight MC and then immediately guns it to the door connecting to the 2nd room. There were several skeleton things that were guarding the door, but Aerial easily defeated them. Helvor and Wraith laughs and says that it's okay. They also, including Fran and Schaha, gun it to the door. The ones who chose to be left behind and fight the 1st room are: Yuan (he wants to free Bella's avatar from Kimaris' necromancy), Suri (Strass is determined not to let him go), and Hamil (to help with the others).Mc is shocked to Aerial in the 2nd room so quickly. He realizes that even though the condition for him to fight was in the last room, all the adventurers had to do was fight through to get to the door (not fight every single monster there. He also knows that it also becomes a disadvantage later on (if a monster survives, they can just follow them through the next door. So, MC realizes that some of them might have been left to fight in the 1st room. Aerial then attacks MC with a wind blade. But the attack was stopped by Marcosias (wolf boss). MC then transports to the 3rd room. He curses on how much magic power he's losing (summoning and transport costs a lot of magical power). Scene cuts back to Wraith. The reason why Wraith is so eager to fight MC is that Aerial is very eager to fight MC. He thinks that by doing a better a job at defeating MC, he can better than the #1 hero Aerial. Wraith then opens the door to the 2nd room. He looks for Aerial and sees that he isn't here anymore. He says that Aerial is too fast. He notices that the vampires, werwolvea and yumemas are here, and that Sitley (yumema boss) and many other demons have already been defeated. Schaha comes in after and also notices that Aerial is gone. Helvor comes in after and shouts for Calmira and Hagenti. Calmira says like "oh it's you" to Helvor while sitting on Hagenti. Helvor is confused by what she sees and Calmira says that she is giving Hangenti her reward. Helvor asks when will the reward be over. Hagenti says eternity but Calmira whips her, then Helvor then attacks them. Wraitg then guns it for the door again, only to be stopped by Marcosias. Fran intervenes by slashing her arm at him. Fran tells Wraith to go while she fights Marcosias. Wraith then goes to the 3rd room.Again, Aerial quickly goes through the door and meets with MC in the next room. He is impressed by how the room was made on incorporate the past 6th and 7th layers, and how MC is able to continually summon such high ranking demons. Aerial then puts out windblades in all directions to MC. Raum (raven subboss) was able to take away MC in his talons and fly away. MC then summoned Wepar (mermaid boss). MC tried to summon Forneus (shark subboss) but lacked magical power to accumulate at that time, so he only ended up summonning a part of him (his tail fin) to repel Aerial's attacks. Aerial laughs because of how smart MC is and how much he is having fun. Wraith then comes in. Wepar greets Wraith. Wepar then summons a big ass ship and many fishmen dressed as pirates hopped on board. This gave time for MC to accumulate enough magical power to summon Kaim (bird boss). Kaim and Wepar then made a big storm in the sea. But Wraith and Aerial were able to make a big wind blade ajd tore the ship in half. MC then summoned the rest of Forneus (his head part) and he ate Aerial. MC doesn't think this will kill him but it would certainly help. Wraith is also busy fighting against Wepar. MC then teleports to the next room.It took longer for Aerial to come in the 4th room, so MC and Fukuras (knight boss) were talking. Aerial then came in with several small slashes on his body. He then says that the only room left is the next one. MC was actually hiding inside the black armor that Furucas uses. He borrowed it from her. He is currently sitting on the passenger seat there (it's really big armor). Aerial tried to stab MC with his magic sword but it was stopped by Furucas' spear. The both of them fight while several Ryutos (dragon people) fight as well. Furucas changes into her oni form (horns and red skin) and becomes more faster and sharper. Schaha then comes in and does a lightning attack on Furucas. Aerial stabs the right arm of the armor. MC summons Agareth (spacetime boss) inside the armor. Agareth moves MC to the shoulder hit/arm of the armor through his spacetime mqgic because Aerial then tries to stab the armor where the seats are. Agareth tells MC that he will fight together with his majins (mages). MC then teleports the final 5th room.MC is greeted by Erie/Ellie. She says that she has been waiting. She is eager to fight Aerial. Aerial finally goes in the last room. Aerial says that the room looks exactly like the room that the Phoenix party fought in. MC is siiting in a throne at the back of the room. At the back of the throne ia the door leading to the safe room that connects to the devil's room. MC says that he won't allow Aerial to go beyond this room and that he will lose. Aerial is happy because he says that he rarely gets to hear such words anymore (because he is the #1 hero). Two people show up beside MC. First is Forus, the cowman/minotaur who's also a black mage. Next is the Erie. Erie talks to Aerial. Aerial is surprised and asks why she is helping the demons. She says thats she is here for the same reason as him (to fight someone strong). The battle then starts. Erie starts fighting Aerial. Her 4 other members then start appearing behind her to support her. Aerial ia surprised by slow he suddenly is. It was because of the black magic from Erie's 2 black mage members plus MC's black magic working on him. Aerial retaliates by using resistance magic. However, using resistance magic costs a lot of magic power, just like how much MC uses everytime he uses black magic. The other demons then come out. Amducias the unicorn trainer who usea Arlaunes the plant creatures to fight ia there. Ronowe (Thor's demon avatar)is there with Orobus (Kei's demon avatar and also with the several orcs and ogres from their dungeon to help.Suri and Strass are still duking it out on the 1st room. Hamil ane Yuan chose to let them fight alone Suri knew who Strass actually was. Strass kept on arguing with Suri. Anyways, Strass won because her arrow was shot at his abdomen. Suri also tried to shoot 3 god speed arrows at her, Leraje stepped in and became a shield for her. Strass thankes Leraje and Leraje died. Suri also died. Yuan was still fighting the Kimaris and Bella's dead avatar. Hamil was busy fighting the insivible enemies. Hamil was shocked that Suri lost to Strass. Anyways, Hamil managed to kill Glasha Labolus and his invisible enemies. Yuan and Hamil managed to defeat Strass. And Yuan defeated Bella's avatar and Kimaris. Hamil was deeply wounded and couldn't use his healing potion/restorative because it got broken and you can use the restorative you have on you and not the others. So, Hamil dies and only Yuan managed to survive. In the 2nd room, Helvor managed to defeat Hagenti ane Calmira. Fran was fighting with Marcosias but her arm got bit off and she couldn't fight anymore. Yuan came in and helped her defeat Marcosias. Fran drank her restorative and got her arm back. Yuan, Fran and Helvor then went to the 3rd room. Wraith was still fighting with Wepar in the 3rd room. Yuan helped Wraith and defeated Wepar. Helvor fought the fishmen. Fran fought with Kaim.They all went to the 4th room after. Schaha was on the 4th room. He managed to defeat both Agareth and Fucuras but he got stabbed in the abdomen. He takes his restorative and alk of them goes to the last room.While Aerial was fighting with Erie, the other 5 comes in. In that moment, MC decides to release his horn. The ground shook and Aerial was laughing. A small portal in showed in front of MC and and little girl with red hair showed up. YO MC JUST STRAIGHT IP SUMMONED THE DEVIL BRO. Lucy complains to MC and asks if he wants her dead. MC says that he only wants the adventurers to look at her and understand their difference. Lucy smiles and says that she will show the difference through her hand/5 fingers. She holds out her hand, and then Aerial, Yuan and Scaha call out to the spirits for help. Lucy says that it's noisy and she breaks everyone's swords, except Aerial's. She says it's hard to break it. Though, his sword is broken enough that it might shatter when he uses it. Lucy then starts to leave and says that she will never meet them again because they'll never get through to the last layer. But then she is stopped by Schaha because he put a lighning barrier around her. Helvor tried to butt in but MC summoned Berito (Nikola's demon avatar) to fight her. Helvor is happy because she said that she was impressed by her fight in the tag tournament last Vol.2. Berito says that she is honored to be recognized by the #3rd hero. Because Helvor's magic sword broke, she uses her soil magic and put on rocks/big chunks of dirt on her arms to form massive arm weapons. She says that her fighting style is similar to Berito's. And so, they fight. Wraith is annoyed that MC is not noticing him. MC says that he is not worthy of a hero and will not fight him. Wraith says "what?" and MC summons Benou (Phoenix's demon avatar). He has blue hair and wears a mask and uses blue flames. Benou says that he can't allow someone who is not worthy to fight MC. And so they fight. Aerial is happy and claps his hands. He shouts and tells Yuan to use wind blades. His attacks are stoppes by the begginers dungeon demons: Ronowe, Orobus, and their orcs and orgres subordinates. They then fight. Aerial uses the heavenly garden techniqie that he used on the 9th layer battle here and cut up the space to form air blocks yo divide everyone up. Aerial challenges MC if he can defeat this technique. Yay so that's it for part 1 of the 10th layer battle. Will continue the remainder tomorrow!
This is basically right, however I can't really remember the fight w/ his former team I'll have to read it again but it sounds about right. He does beat them up pretty good, even his replacement. My reply has more spoilers so please aware while reading on.
-MC is definitely very powerful, Mira (the vampire) is aware of that just by watching his matches. It's why she wants him, especially after learning that he's no longer w/ his former team. There's another reason too as to why she has always had her eyes on him.
-Its explained what the absence of MC did to the team in detail. Basically a-hole swordsman uses a difficult sword and MC has been guiding him w/ his black magic so that he hits precisely, but a-hole swordsman thinks the whole time that he's improved. He has not and it's obvious once MC leaves. It's the same w/ Lily, her shots are not as precise after MC leaves. Luck doesn't even manage to land a hit. Phoenix (flame hero) knew this would happen. At this point, he is the only capable one in the team.
-To clear up, the info above occurs a few chp after MC leaves. This footage is not released to the audience, it's a much later chapter where the audience wonders if those three are "sick"
-Lily, Luck, and a-hole swordsman notice their performance is down but aren't sure why. Phoenix mentions that they don't and won't ever realize why b/c they're always looking down on MC. Also a-hole swordsman blames MC saying that he's cursed them and it makes Phoenix super mad (dude is literally pushing the patience of everybody).
-The new member has also concluded that MC was not kicked out b/c he was incompetent. New member is also blessed like Phoenix. I think her name is Bella, not entirely sure since the name can be read differently ex. アルバ --> Aruba ---> (translated name) Alvar
-Phoenix is the only one who really knows the worth of his childhood friend (in the team) b/c he knew how much MC had trained so that they could be in a team together. Phoenix goes through a bunch of turmoil about MC being gone. As stated MC supported his dreams to become a hero and Phoenix wanted to do the same for MC, however it feels like MC has given up and Phoenix (obviously) doesn't like that. I'll post more spoilers in a bit I'm reading through the series again.
