Ik I can't bring myself to ship him with her. We all love redemption stories but I don't see him feeling bad about the whole ordeal 'cause he's not taking her feelings to account at all :/

Um, sir, I understand you're a dragon but don't you have an ounce of sympathy for all those poor queens and the knight you killed off? If you can feel love why can't you feel a bit of morality, you dunce? I get that he can consider humans inferior but idk can't bring myself to like him

Okie, so I managed to get my friend to translate some parts for me.
She told me that the emperor is cursed when he became a human. He's unable to age ( or even die?)
He met the empress since she was young. Empress has grown in the last 17 years they have been together but the emperor hasn't aged a day. The flashback showed him rescueing her when she was a young girl but unfortunately it didn't say from whom or how he came to meet her at that time. Their relationship seems pretty intimate(not sure if sexually.. but difinitely on an emotional level). In chap 5 he will meet with empress to discuss about Mir. I don't know what else they talked about but emperor collapsed on the floor. Empress said she would go get him some medicine but he begged her to stay and they ended up hugging.
I have a feeling that the emperor wants to die, but unable to. Once he heard of this prophecy about a child wielding pamado sword. Since this sword was forged by the souls of those slaughtered by dragons.. Maybe it'll be strong enough to kill the (reborned) red dragon?
... I just hope he's not the ML.. I still don't like this dude.
P. S. I just want to add that my friend didnt read this manhwa from the beginning. I just shown her chap 5, 11 and 12 and she just picked out the details she thought were relevant to the plot. She could have misinterpreted something. But we won't know until more chapters are released I guess .

I feel like people are really going overboard? Sure, I agree the red dragon should've been nicer and not kill the family and all but keeping in mind his personality, it would've made no sense for him to not kill her family, plus, if Mir didn't get to live in the palace from such a young age she wouldn't have developed the desire to kill the emperor and all her revenge.
I get y'all being angry at the emperor and empress but they literally just strike me as a couple of partners in crime that really just want the same thing. Emperor wants to die because he is tired of the pain and of living eternally and saw his race get extinguished. Empress feels pity for the Emperor and wants him to die to find his peace as he did with her, or that id what I'm getting so far.
I also think the Emperor killed Lady Yurian (Knight) because he thought Mir was going to be happy to see the one who killed her dead. Of course, I'm not saying this excuses his behaviour, but it explains what he is thinking, for example, he was really surprised when Mir tried to kill him after he killed her family, he was not expecting her to be angry about it, or at least angry in a way of "You killed my family", he must've been expecting something amongst the lines of "You killed my prey, therefore you stepped on my pride and deserve to die". I feel like the red dragon believed if he let the family live, MC would become close to them and forgive them, which is why he chose to kill the family, not really expecting MC to be so close to them yet.
Y'all are also on-board with the BlondiexMir ship and I can totally tell Klaus is going to be such a bad person that will make us forgive the red dragon one way or another, you all hate the empress and emperor for their schemes? Please don't lie and say you haven't deduced blondie has a friking big scheme in his hand and our MC is just a puppet to him.
I don't ship any of the guys with the MC because I feel she is too pure and just wants to have familial and platonic love in her life, but yeah, off you go with your ships, I support as long as you don't curse somebody else for shipping something you don't approve of.

Exactly. I understand where he's coming from as a CHARACTER, and I can understand the whole "dragons are superior" thing because thats his mindset and he'll probably grow out of it through the course of the story. Plus, a character without flaws is boring. But are we going to ignore the MC here by making him out to be an "ML"? He killed off the only people she ever loved right in front of her eyes and she's about to fall for him without karma getting him?! What bullshit is that?! Sure, he's suffered, he's in pain, blah blah blah, but love the sinner, hate the sin.IM fine with him as s character but this time the sin's related to the MC, and its very unrealistic that he can be the MLin these conditions.
Its going to be abandoned empress all over again except for the fact that it'd be WORSE cuz over there at least the current timeline prince didn't do it. What about the MC's mental condition when she faces him? Till this point, he's not a qualified ML, but he can develop it, AFTER suffering in front of the MC

I really don't want that red head as ML, I mean he killed the MC's "parent"? In the recent manhwa (ch 9?), I can't read Korean, but I could get an idea that the red head was jealous of the blond chef because MC blush when he make a move on her. He also secretly learn to make cherry dessert for the MC because she liked it. But come on Man, he killed her parents, I don't think he deserved to be loved by our MC.
