Re. the WN status, the author has yet to decide when to post future updates and will keep readers informed at a later date.

They originally put the WN on hold because they were unsure how well the LN versions would sell in Japan.
LN Vol 1 came out around when Covid-19 hit Japan, and as a result the book sales were slow since the physical bookstores were closed then.

Although Vol 1's sales were able to scrape through to justify a Vol 2, author wants to see first how well Vol 2 will sell before committing themselves to writing out more WN chapters. 

SpoilerNot really. He's still highly regarded for his skills and magic, and is looked towards as a capable leader and manager, but status wise he's still just a commoner butler.

He gets the chance to marry into the royal family of the Flamefield Empire when Princess Charlotte proposes to him, saying that if he accepts, she'll see what she can do about keeping her brother away from Sophia, but Cyril refuses, since even if marrying a princess, improving the relationships between their two countries, and keeping Sophia away from Harold could all be accomplished just by accepting, it wasn't the end result he wanted.

There probably won't be any rise in influence until Cyril comes of age and becomes a noble.
