Michael is a 'cotton candy'. Yes, that is the word!
I love how understanding both Cassia and Michael are! My heart swells in happiness whenever I read their scenes (>//<)
Ken's character is in a way annoying. I do understand where he is coming from. But he should have at least once talked to his stepmother, who was once his aunt. He is depicted to be the hot, young blood in this novel and I wonder if he's going to ever want to know what really happened.
I have a hunch that Cassia and Ken scenes will be back once Diana's murder case comes up in the family. The diary is still with Cassia or maybe with Axion.

That would be a great arc. As far as we have read, only Michael was known to have magical powers in the Allison family.
I would like to answer these questions, if that's fine, haha xD
1. They end up together for sure. Because... why would they not?
2. Their relationship is very understanding and mature. I believe it is because they realised their love for each other a bit late (they are middle-aged, I believe).
3. Pretty sure, yes. He did beg her to not marry Axion before the night/a few nights before her marriage to the Duke.
4. I believe 38.
5. I can only see Ken as the only obstacle in this story.
6. Let's wait for the ending, haha.

There is a part of me that wants to spoil myself on who's the ml. But I literally like this novel that I can't stop reading it. Should I say, refreshing? The writing too was beautiful, and it felt too realistic. The characters had depth and FL was just my type. It's been a while since I enjoyed a novel this much.

I'm happy that he still loves his late wife but confused how can anyone not fall in love with pretty good hearted cassia but knows the answer that he loves his wife but frustrated on how can he not love her but still contented that he loved his late wife.
