Can Femto just kill Isidro first thing he does when they run into him please?

Or just have Isidro trip and hit his head on a rock and go into a coma/ die.

It baffles me how characters like Naruto or Black Star can be so beloved here, yet you get a much better variant of that same archetype in Ishidro and everyone hates him.

In any case, I strongly feel Miura doesn't just make characters for no reason; while Ishidro isn't what I'd call layered, like any of the other main cast, I feel he definitely will and has an important purpose coming up. And he did show a lot of interesting growth in the Fantasia arc alone.

Taking a character at face value is probably the lest engaging way to perceive any character, I find.

I haven't watched Naruto but I found Black Star annoying too.

I hate those kinds of characters but I still think that Black Star and Isidro aren't the same at all.

Whether Isidro will or won't have a purpose is another matter, but I actually think that just makes it worse.

If a character can basically be summarized as this:

Then I kinda don't want them to affect anything.

I don't think he can be boiled down to that base element at all. It's simply a side to him. I see him more as the younger guy desperate to get as skilled in a fight kind of character than the mischievous one.

And he got a lot of that growth in Fantasia, when he happened upon Isma. So yeah, I think something interesting is definitely going to happen with him, and I would wind up personally hating him if it turned out all he was just wasted potential and an annoying idiot for no reason.

I can tolerate things if they actually serve a point; but not for the sake of nothing.

                        ----------------------------------------

Isidro seems to have a lot of fun being a sneaky pervert with monkey skills. Puck's commentary made me chuckle while reading the chapter. Great to see Morda again as she's a real beauty. Other than that, I'm surprised to know that the vision said it was an Eclipse and not a Mock-Eclipse. As for the kid, I assumed he was a projection of the Elf Queen who had come to test Guts and his party. But was it just a thought made by Shierke? Guess we'll know in the next chapter.

I think this is the moment where the story will start to move on, such as what Guts will do next or the place he will go to. Will he get strong allies to defeat Griffith and his minions, or will he gain supernatural powers to assist him? Could be anything. I'm happy to read a Berserk chapter after so long and am looking forward to the next one.

Normally, I would be mad about the Isidro comedy.

But the last ten or so chapter have been super serious, and this was actually hilarious.

That child is casca's kid, right. In the tower arc, the behelit guy made him like this, so he would suffer like he did because of his appearance.

It was decent, it would've been an acceptable chapter if it wasn't for that horrible Isidro filler in the middle.

It was well drawn and the panelling was solid but Isidro is an annoying character who is almost useless so we don't care what happens with him. Miura really sucks at comedy which is a shame.

No, don't go deeper. You're just gonna receive second-hand PTSD.
