This chapter was a little bit disappointing not really showing us much more of skull knight to instead focus on comedy. Wanted more lore or for things to move faster.

Edit: I cannot believe that this was the final released chapter. RIP Master I’m devastated.no, tear of the morning dew (next chapter) i believe is the last ever written officially by miura

Okay I’m confused on who the woman in the vision was... was it a younger Flora???Are you referring to woman we saw in the vision in the previous chapter? That was SK's beloved, not Flora. Flora served under that woman when she was young. Danann calls her "The Lady Priestess of the Cherry Blossoms".

Ohhh okay okay even tho I just got caught up two months ago it feels like it’s been a while to remember that information. Thanks!

It was a good comedy relief, at least that is what I think

Such a pity that this ends up being the last thing the series has to offer with so many things unresolved, a comedic relief filler and a cliffhanger

Need some comedy here and there to calm the seriousness once in a while, so this chapter was great.

Oh boy the kid is back...maybe I'll reread Berserk for a third time by the time of the next chapter comes out.

One of the best artworks for ever!

For the first time, the child does not go to Casca, but towards Guts. Does this mean that Griffith is in control of the child? And can he use it at will?.The child has helped Guts several times in the past without going to Casca. I dont think Griffith is in control of the child because it wouldnt make sense as the child has been helping Guts and Casca throughout the story.

In the sense that every time Miura presents the child, for first there is always the meet with his mother (Casca) and never with Guts. But, of course, he child helps his father but he never go towards Guts before Casca and this is the first time. Then if Griffith does not have control over the child, I think we have to wait for the next chapter because we have to see how Miura decides to develop the matter. It may also be that he went to his father first so that Casca can see him.

So... that's it. The end of Berserk.

I'm going to be honest and say I'm completely satisfied with this ending.

There are a lot of things I would have liked to see resolved, the biggest one being guts and Casca's reconciliation, but those last few panels are enough for me to envision my own ending.

9.5 for the manga as a whole. An incredible journey I'll never forget. Thank you Miura.

That child is casca's kid, right. In the tower arc, the behelit guy made him like this, so he would suffer like he did because of his appearance.

Uh.... I think you kinda missed the point of that scene.

The Egg of the Perfect World took pity on the dying child and consumed him so they would die together when the Egg eventually would birth Griffith, as his vessel.

As it turns out, the child was absorbed into Griffith unintentionally and now they share the same incarnated body, with the child only gaining control on nights with a full moon, IE, when magic is at its highest.

Griffith has no control over this change.

But yes, to answer your question, it is Guts' child.

I don’t mind filler or comedic moments but Puck’s gags are so outlived at this point. Seems odd the gritty, fantastical Berserk has 4th wall breaks, and while used sparingly it’s fine, but 90% of Puck’s dialogue has been gags and meta references since Conviction ended.

Imagine if in ASOIAF every time Tyrion came on page, he made a Star Wars joke or power rangers reference. Even if ASOIAF is top tier, that shit is gonna take you out of the story and lose respect a bit. Atleast it doesn’t happen when stuff gets really dark but I’d be much more impressed if Miura stuck to the nice type of comedic and light hearted moments of early GA or Conviction rather than this.

the scene with the star wars reference feels out of time, it almost seems like the chapter was created last year (which would not surprise me).

and to be honest I never liked Puck, while I'm sorry for Isidoro because now he's treating him really badly (hopefully it's just a way to hit him hard later), the thing that bothers me is that if you remove those 10 filler pages the rest is very good, and the fact that you have to wait 3 months for a 20 page chapter is what always pisses everyone off
