Berserk Chapter 360 Discussion

Please give Guts a break now...

This is the first chapter I am reading with the whole berserk community live. It was a good chapter. I am just so happy that we got a chapter this year. I really hope we get another one in 2 months or so.

When I went over the raws a few days ago and saw that the chapter would mostly have Schierke and Farnese, I honestly thought it would be boring. But damn was I wrong. Miura just keeps writing such interesting and fun chapters. I'm glad that after all these months of wait it wasn't anything boring. Great chapter.

so they've officially entered the island now... it's been a long journey and i hope that they are able to accomplish their goal here

I really hope the next chapter doesn't take too long to release, but considering how even Attack on Titan took its first break since serialization due to the pandemic, I wouldn't be surprised if we have to wait even longer for Berserk.  

I just hope that after Skull Knight tells Guts whatever news he's bringing that we can shift over to Silat and Rickert squad. I wanna see the boys and what they've been up to.



I'm guessing this is how you reply. the pandemic shouldn't slow down chapter release, your forgetting that for an anime like attack on titan there is a massive production team, with loads of people who have have to go to a studio together and meet to create their anime.



on the other hand a manga like berserk, is apparently something made by a single person, meaning kentuaro miura is even more isolated now. So he'll probably just like almost constantly be working on his manga, A LOT more than usual. he might even open social media, somehow improve the story, and finish it nicer and quicker



I wasn't talking about the AOT anime, I was talking about the manga. It took its first break ever since serialization due to COVID-19. Manga is also a team effort, all it takes is one person within a manga studio (like Berserk's studio gaga for example) or an editor, or anyone really involved even slightly in making the manga to get sick. It's very possible.

Great,another skull Knight blue balling and it seems like miura is actually commiting to this rpg/little witch academia set up. I guess it's not as bad as another chapter about Fantasia and grifith being a "epic" new ruler. 8 month wait has begun again!

gonna be an ingrate and say that it wasn't that great, hopefully next ch is better. looks promising though

Was it good? Yes.

Was remotely close to what I was expecting? no. The witches mini arc and the Griffith one definitively drag the main plot a lot in my opinion.



So Skull Knight is giving us the hint. I guess he will tell Guts to go alone from now on in order to fight Griffith, and the crew will stay trying to cure Casca's scars. Qhat I wonder the most (If we ever see it) is what the fuck is Guts going to do in order to face Griffith. He have less than 10 allies, no one is remotely opossing against Phemto (except Rickert) and there is no way they will rush a casttle like that. Besides, Guts isn't even close to Griff in power, and the more the story progresses the less powerful he feels (he is probably getting burnt off his lifestyle). I think he will do some kind of deal with a Behelith or some dark magic thing to gain a whole boost, unless Miura wants todo some kind of Devilman ending.
