I got goosebumps when I find out that the chapter was out, then the same feeling reading it and seeing the Berserker form, now all I feel is melancholy over how short and epic it was and if we'll ever get another chapter next month.

Don't worry, Guts won't leave Casca as she will leave him first. Before being overhyped, do keep in mind what the skull knight said "What You Wish For, May Not Be What She Wishes For"

Be ready for some kind of disappointment, or potential heartbreak.

Leave him? After all he and the others went through to get her there and keep her safe along the way? She is not that selfish. Based on what we've seen in the past few chapters we know that Casca understand Guts is suffering and that he is protecting her.

I've interpreted SK's words as "she might not want to be sane again because she will suffer more that way." But it seems Casca is ready though, she already said she wanted to see a certain person. I don't think they will go their separate ways anyway. They are bond together, and if Cascas love has died down it will probably spark again at some point.

I agree with you, but I can also see Casca trying to commit suicide (again) if Farnese tries to force her out of the dream world. This crossroad has appeared multiple times with Casca in Berserk, I doubt everything will be simple once she wakes up.

I wonder what Guts can even do at a time like this...

most vital? what?

Have you, like... not read the rest of the manga or something? Or did you somehow skip the Golden Age arc and start reading in the middle of the series? Not being sarcastic or rhetorical, just genuinely puzzled that someone could read the manga and think Casca is some throwaway character, unless you've only seen her in her potato state.

Casca's influence on the story prior to the Eclipse may have been subtle, but a lot of major developments for both Guts and Griffith that led them to where they are today can be traced back to her. Personally, I have zero doubts that Casca will have a big role to play when Guts and Griffith inevitably meet, which is why I wish Miura would hurry up and end this healing-dream-sequence arc already so we can see what lies in store for her. But at least he's continuing it for now, I was seriously prepared for him to detour to Rickert and the Bakiraka or Griffith/Femto instead.

*swoops in because I'm waiting for 353* personally I think that Casca will stay unharmed (although with Miura who tf knows), but I can definitely see an unpleasant event striking so I agree with you about things being complicated in the future. Mainly because Guts seems pretty chill rn and he's resolved to stay with Casca instead of pursuing revenge, and we know that something must happen with this subplot. In any case, I hope that at the very least we will manage to complete the dream sequence before the next hiatus LOL

Another bad chapter from an overall mediocre arc (Fantasia). It's sad to see something as incredible as berserk dip so hard like this. The last notable chapter I can even think of was the one where Griffith got slapped by Rickert. I really hope this arc gets better soon, cause this arc is just dragging ass at this point.

I think transforming Caska's recovery into a battle arc cheapens what should've been a more emotional experience. Instead of making allusions to the things Caska went through Miura is just recreating it all over again. Subtlety is out the window.

Let's see how this thing wraps up in the following chapters.
