Episode was a treat, showed a ton of flashbacks but didn't waste too much time on any of them.

And to everyone saying that Casca can't possibly want to see Griffith, why not? She didn't say what she wanted to do once she met the person. Maybe she wants to ask Griffith why, maybe she needs to confront her largest fears (like she's been doing with the black monsters) in order to recover. Or maybe she wants to kill him herself. The point is we don't know for sure.

I think what farnese and schierke see on that peek will shake them to the core, but also unite them all. At the same time i can see farnese' heart breaking a little because she knows of guts relationship. I hope she doesnt try to sabotage casca's mind

Hold your horses. After chapter 351, "Berserk" goes on next hiatus. At least new chapter looks interesting (and nightmarish).

Don't forget that besides Griffith raping Casca and killing her friends, he also corrupted the fetus within her and made it into a demon thingy. Griffith basically took Cascas child from her, and I can't imagine that her motherly instincts will have nothing but fury and hate left for Griffith.

these 2 have seen many fights with demons but not sure they are ready to see the eclipse...

But when Casca regains her sanity and actually realizes what's happened, then we have a different story.

Even during The Eclipse, Casca looks back as she's riding away with Judeau and angrily says something like "Is this really what you wanted, Griffith?! Answer me!" It would seem like she developed a grudge then already.

Again, you're assuming that Casca will revert to her old self and have all of her memories intact. We don't know that yet. Personally, I think we'll see a new, sadder and wiser Casca.

The scene with Judeau happened before she was broken, so yeah, she was angry at Griffith then. But that doesn't mean she is full of anger and hatred towards him now. If she were, even with her foggy memories, don't you think some of that feeling would come through, like when Griffith enveloped her in his cloak and held her close? Don't you think she would be scared or repelled by him, even if she didn't know why? She isn't exactly holding back what little emotion she has right now.

To the extent that the fetus merged with what became re-born as Griffith, he is her child. And yes, Guts is Griffith's "dad," to that same extent. But Guts has the advantage that he remembers the Eclipse and Skull Knight was there to explain things to him, so he knows that his child might as well be dead and has no feelings of paternity. Add to that, he never had a chance to form an emotional attachment to it. He didn't even know she was pregnant until she gave birth. Heck, he didn't even know it was his until it went away! Casca, on the other hand, demonstrated affection for it as soon as it was born. Plus, in almost every culture and society, mothers are considered to have a stronger bond with their children than fathers, so it wouldn't be surprising if she feels a connection to him and Guts does not.

Granted this is all speculation, and I could be (and probably am) completely wrong. But it's fun to speculate until we finally get the next chapter. Come on, end of June! :D

Casca going back to her rapist who murdered her friends doesn't make sense in any circumstance whatsoever. She wouldn't even be able to be near him because of the brand. It doesn't logically or emotionally make sense. Going back to Griffith *now* isn't even slightly, a little bit similar to anything she's ever done.

It doesn't make any logical sense, but it does make emotional sense. Griffith was the person she idolized beyond anyone in the world for a very long and significant period of her life. That kind of bond doesn't break very easily, especially since strong emotions tend to linger more than specific memories. On top of that, Casca is currently reverted back to her most basic, childlike state. Like a child who has been raped by a trusted adult, she probably has a lot of very confusing and conflicting emotions about Griffith. There are plenty of real-life examples of children who were raped by parents or other guardians and stuck with them for years, often well into adulthood.

It's also quite possible that, now that Griffith has come back looking exactly like his old self, Casca's fragile mental state might push her to accept an alternate reality where the Eclipse never happened and it was all just a bad dream. I can see it happening the same way people develop Dissociative Identity Disorder or Stockholm Syndrome - something so traumatic happens, that the person's mind shatters and does whatever mental gymnastics it must do in order to cope with it. I am hoping this is not the case, though, since Casca is a strong character who has survived all sorts of trauma already. Surely she can accept the truth without breaking again?

I don't want to see Casca go to Griffith either, and I am desperately hoping that that's not who she is talking about, but I'm also deathly afraid that it might happen. If you go back and look at the few interactions they've had since Griffith returned, she doesn't exactly react negatively to him. If anything, since her mind went, she's been way more repelled by Guts. Ironically, this actually gives me hope that Guts and Casca will have a good ending after all, since that's how they were back when they first met and, well, we all know how that ended up. On the other hand, this is Berserk, and nothing good ever stays happened in Berserk.
