Ok, sorry in advance for beating a dead horse, but could someone rationally break down to me why Berserk is so often on hiatus?



Like, besides the Idolmaster jokes, the only reason I've seen people mentioning is that Miura takes a lot of time to be able to offer great drawing. Granted the art is amazing, but surely it wouldn't take him 2-6 months to draw a single chapter??? Right??

If I was Miura I would be able to answer your question on the fly. But I'm not, so I can't.

I binge-read the manga from a week ago till today. I hoped next month I'll see another chapter. Then I hear the manga is on a hitaus. Now I somewhat regret starting to read the manga so soon, instead of waiting for some time...

Things are going waaaay too well. Something absolutely fucked up is going to happen next chapter. Miura likes to get us real comfortable before punching us in the balls.
