I hope that the next arc will be better, this one sucked big time.

They say patience is a virtue but this is getting ridiculous!

Being food isn't the worst thing in the world :P

Looked at the spoilers, haven't read it yet but doesn't seem worth the wait to be honest. I love the double spreads and all but the plot hardly progressed after he took a 4 month break. I really hope he moves on already, and the mermaids are not a welcomed addition in my opinion. Berserk is starting to move from its dark fantasy theme, to a more "kids with magic" shonen theme; which is slowly making me lose interest in what use to be my favorite manga. I'll edit this once i read it and score the chapter, hopefully the few lines of text i saw in the chapter make me change my mind.



Edit: Just read it in Spanish, pretty much exactly what i thought had happened from looking at the scans. Ends with a cliffhanger which is annoying since we never know when the hell Miura will release the next chapter. Out of this entire "Pirates+Mermaids" saga this is the worst chapter in my opinion. If Miura doesn't start bringing back the old Berserk, this story will begin to fall apart. A victim to the old dragged-on-forever curse.

Any chance the merrows song can heal guts? He'll definitely need some healing from even more supernatural sources.

fun chapter... nice to see guts back in action... it's been awhile

The good thing in this chapter was that the fight with the Sea God finally ended (I was getting sick with the fact that for the past 8 months only few steos were between Guts and the conlusion of the arc, even frontlines in WW I moved faster than that), the far less pleasant thing is that Guts won because of the... Singing? WTF?! What will be coming up after this? In the next fight will he win because in the crucial moment poor orphaned children will tell him that they belive in him? I didn't have anything against Isma and i even like her (she was funny and in a far better way than the absurd elves) but that bunch of other mermaids coming out of nowhere, reunion with the child that lost its place in the world and all that singing could be all scrapped and the story would only get better because of it.
