Other than the mundanely lengthy story of the island, I'm glad for some change-of-pace action. Guts gets to loosen up again by unleashing hell on whatever poor monstrosity comes across his path.

I'm not a fan of this island mini-arc, but some action to break things up helps a bit.

Does that mean the half Merrow is also part of the Sea God's body??

So Berserk returned, and the good old Guts's slaughters came with it. I really  needed them.

After the wait this is what we get?



First half was meh but the second half was great, had an epic double spread.

man... the art on these ganishka demon form panels is absolutley ridiculous. berserk has incredible art to begin with but those panels are just something else

This island and its inhabitants looks soooo much like Lovecraft's Innsmounth / R'leh.
