Well, not that last thing was certainly cthulhu-like but entire setting has some similiarities to that Lovecraft inspired movie Dagon (small fishing village which inhibitants were some strange human/seafood crossbreeds and worshipped sea god Dagon), dunno if it was adopted from some novel or just inspired by H.P.L. world but in Berserk we will probably

see some sea monster's insides flying around ^^

Change of landscape, refreshing. It doesn't look that dangerous though.

Good to see some more mystery and some weird looking stuff again
