It all looks nice but I have absolutely NO IDEA what the fuck is going on.  I think I pretty much lost interest and coherence in Berserk around the time the little witch girl turned up, or maybe even earlier, shit I cant even remember when I started reading this manga.  (oO)

I'm simply losing my appetite for Berserk. Sept 25? He's got to be kidding!

Think positive, at least we know when the next chapter is coming :)

Since Guts obtained his new armor and started travelling with bunch of people this series has been moving towards wrong direction.Well, it would've worked out if Guts started raising his own army to fight against Griffith's.  It started moving towards the wrong direction when the story stopped being arc-based, and started following more than one thread (Band of Hawks, Gut's crew).  'Recently' it's been decidedly less epic.

Hahaha. As is usual for long-running manga, a bunch of early commenters who read this when it came out are just complaining about pace and lack of dialogue. It seem some readers forget context with long breaks between chapters. They just want progress, progress, progress! Story, story, story! Now, now, now! Admittedly it reads a lot better without pauses. This chapter feels very special.

The page spreads for all of the God Hand are incredible. I love that for Void the pages are just a huge brain. I assume now they can all manifest into the world without an eclipse. I think there are actually more spreads than single pages this chapter. The level of detail is incredible. I can't believe people want to ruin it with unnecessary dialogue.

lol I can see where some of the early commenters were coming from ..

I guess back in those days of reoccurring publication , they were only getting 1 chapter a month ,, with 6-12 month breaks inbetween

---

but yeah I love those few chaps you're on , the transition from Millennium Falcon arc to Fantasia the Isekai arc

Some people felt bewilderment, some felt terror, and some felt a sense of wonder seeing all these creatures materialize before their eyes. They were always there but the low concentration of environmental magic made their paths crossing never meant to be until now.

Seeing the other members of the Godhand waiting in their surreal little worlds was very interesting. Slan's in stony slut land, Conrad's cosplaying as a Gravelord with rats, Ubik's in his surreal Dali-esque dimension of otherworldly delights, and Void's just living in his own head.

It's the flow of causality that caused all of this and for most of them, there's nothing they can do. One thing's for sure though; Someone call a Witcher!

Yeah, I understand the frustration. I think it's easy to lose perspective when there's a new chapter only every few months. It's easy for me to point out now how well this chapter flows with the others, and how brilliant a climax it is, with a lot of stunning art, but at the time I guess it seemed like a trickle with nothing going on. I just found it amusing because it's often how these sort of threads go. The early commenters are so often frustrated, while the latter ones are more invested. That's why I so rarely follow publishing manga! I actually finished Berserk a long while ago, but hearing the news that it's returning, I thought back to this chapter for some reason. I really love the depictions of the God Hand.
