Yeah, I don't know if I'd say "evil" yet but he definitely doesn't mind using people and killing enemies. In fact, I'm almost certain he's manipulating the princess here  and that death glare he gave the minister....damn.

This talk with the princess is what will fuck them up.

[Precious Thing]

I just can't wait to see Casca changing her mind about Griffith.

Poor Guts, he killed an innocent victim and, without having time to rest, had to listen to Griffith describing him like a mere subordinate.

He was surely a bad omen, but for himself.

I wonder if he will get the old Casca back or leave her how she is. I hope he gets the old one back but he will keep thinking about what the skulled horseman told him.

Griffith gets started on his meaningful speech with an insane dolphin photobombing the frame. Miura why

Griffith's speech was really good and that evil smile at the end

Guts must be shattered upon hearing that speech.

every man, within his lifetime, should at least hope for a life he can sacrifice to the god of dreams. quote griffith. Nice one. Simulatenously he just discards guts philosophy of life. Furthermore he clarifies that he only sees someone equal to him as his friend. With this he seperates himself from guts and simulatenously he also kind of sees him his equal. A rather complicated relationship. However that evil smile said more than enough towards the end.

Awesome chapter!

This is where the downfall truly starts!

Griffith philosophizing was interesting and had some beauty about it!

"A man should envision such a lifetime once. A life spent as martyr to the god named "dream". Ultimately to be born, and to then simply live for no better reason...I can't abide such a lifestyle"

Every word he said in this chapter was a stab into the back of Guts....Pretty much Guts is a nothing to him, no friend no equal, just a tool.

No one could say he was only saying this to get the princess wet, but the evil smile at the end shows us he just doesn't give a fuck as long he as he wins.....so probably means it, straight up.

This was straight up a Sigma Male Grinset speech by Griffith lol

Guts is obviously shattered, he just killed the Count and an innocent child. A relationship between these two characters that just reminded him of himself and Gambino! And then he hears this....He is done with Griffith...

Casca's reaction was also interesting. She clearly has a crush on Griffith or is even in love with him, but this chapters reaction seems like she already knew how Griffith thinks and thus came to the conclusion that she has "no right to be in love with him or be with him".....

A truly complex relationship between these 3 characters...and it will get wilder..!
