Berserk Chapter 5 Discussion

I really liked this chapter, but what's the deal with Casca?

I liked the bit with Theresia, but this chapter felt like a lot of boring back and forth "oh no, he's losing! oh no, he's winning!" padding to me. That being said, I'm still very excited to see what happens next, and I don't hold this chapter against the manga at all.

It was hilarious that the second the daemon told Guts that he'll never die unless his head gets chopped off, he gets his head chopped off xD Joke's on him coz his bluff had him smashed all over the wall.



Theresia looks cute and I wonder if her will to survive is strong enough for the later chapters. When Guts was reminded about the hopelessness that came with the brand, he utterly lost to inner despair and got smashed around. I would like to see how he'll get out of this situation.

Another great chapter and once again over 100+ pages!

A lot of action with Guts crashing through the castle!

I really liked Theresias and Pucks conversation, but I must admit that I fear she will die..........I pray not, but I am pretty certain she will since this is Berserk........Please no.....

Guts got destroyed! How will he comeback? I would suspect that Theresia will get involved!

Great Volume 2 with only 2 Chapters!

Volume 2 gets a 8,5/10.

Let's see how the final third of the Blackswordsman-Arc will play out!

It's so very predictable that Theresia is destined to die, I think the mangaka goes over board with the death and I'm saying that while it's still early in the manga. I don't have a problem with people dying, it just loses impact when people Gutts meets just keep dying over and over.
