Ew, even if that fetus is disgusting and weird... maybe it's not that bad after all? I've thought it was evil, but whether it's just helping Casca because she's it's mother or it's helping Guts too, it's interesting to see what'll happen :0

I guess it's a good time to mention those "eyes" that have been watching everything on the holy ground. I'm not really sure what to make of it, I think it's evil or something. I've even toyed with the idea of it being Griffith, but I'm not sure. It's interesting that "it" saved Joachim, though.



Boy, Casca very nearly went through another "eclipse" if you will but was ironically saved by the spirits that haunt her and then the fetus showed up again. It's becoming more and more clear that the fetus is helping it's parents, whether it's protecting Casca or guiding Guts in some way.



It still breaks my heart to see the once powerful woman and headstrong Casca reduced to grunts and mumblings. I hope one day she'll at least be able to speak again. Because, unfortunately, it's very unlikely she'll ever be completely whole again.
