Berserk Chapter 140 Discussion

After years of hearing about the alleged "rape horse" ... I've finally reached the point in the manga. Oh boy.



I always saw the meme floating around but never knew the context. I always figured it would be a gruesome scene but it turned out rather anti-climactic. The horse was simply possessed by a malicious spirit, and before being raped, Farnese was saved by Guts. In light of everything else that has happened in this series, I was rather unfazed, this moment carrying little significance or impact for me hehe. It was entertaining nonetheless, but compared to the earlier chapters, this seemed like nothing.



I expected a lot more people to be commenting on this forum..........

So that horse is where From Software and Hidetaka Miyazaki got the inspiration for the Ludwig boss fight in Bloodborne...
