End of Volume 10. I wonder how Griffith is going to get better?

So Griffith is being pursued.

That's one ugly motherfucker at the end there. Of course, the King has to be a lying bastard to Charlotte. Suffice to say my opinion of him has went quite a bit south the last two volumes.



Also, I'm surprised by how different this stuff has been from the anime. Of course, this is far better.

Completely irrelevant minor villains appear just to be killed by Team Guts. Another ones are also on their way. I like that 1997 version cut all of those fillerlike crap.

Because it shows excellent character writing at times , plus I just like reading in general. Well , usually not comics or manga , but Berserk is also great solely as comics. Easy to read and amazing aesthetics.

It's amazing how the king went from being a seemingly cool dude to a total fuck over these last two or so volumes. I thought maybe he might redeem himself a bit by conceding his grudge against Griffith, but nope. He's not happy as long as his daughter still has feelings for him.



I like how Judeau and Pippin got a chance to shine a bit over these last two chapters. One of my problems with the Golden Age arc so far is that the only members of the Band who were ever in the spotlight were Griffith and Casca (and Guts, of course). It feels like a few more of the characters are getting fleshed out a bit over the last two volumes, and I'm enjoying it a lot.



In fact, I'd say this whole rescue Griffith operation has been among my favorite parts of the Golden Age arc so far.

Most of the part this volume was to rescue Griffith which went successful and this man looks ugly and strong and he even had some business with Hawk's boss.....The king bastard ofc lied to Charlotte about him not sending people to kill Griffith and would send that man....now I'm wondering how'll Griffith recover from all of this

Can he just stop already, whoever tf made him king is an absolute idiot.



His issue is that he has all this power but choses to use it on things like this, like couldn't he had sent them to end the 100 year war or smt if they're that strong instead. He claims he does all of this for his daughter when it's clearly not what she wants but ignores her wishes and still does whatever he wants. It's so annoying ._.
