was that what I think it was in the floor?

how reckless of Griffith; it seems he did that on impulse after Guts left

let's see how he will get out of this

If one of them did one thing differently, everything wouldn't have had turned out like that. Such are the wheels of causality in motion lel

Charlotte looking at the bedsheets with hymen blood and saying uh-oh made me chuckle. Griffith won't be doing so anytime soon tho. Sex scene looked better in the movie ;3

Guts kind of set off a chain of events that will just spiral out of control from here on out. Unfortunately Guts was wrong in his belief that Griffith would be able to pick himself back up as he, in a state of duress, made a huge mistake in seeking solace with the princess.

Whatever happens from this point forward, Griffith can blame no one but himself.  Gutts left the Band of Hawk, but didn't tell Griffith to sleep with Princess Charlotte.

I'm rather disappointed in Griffith.  I was sure that he was mentally stronger than that.

NoOoOoOo... GaAaAaAaH... it's ONE thing after another. And I thought Guts leaving was sad enough. Griffith comes in and destroys Charlotte's purity... and then...

Guh. I'm sure Griffith will find away to come back from this seeing as he's a central character, but to see the successful and acclaimed savior of the kingdom stripped of his status and deemed a criminal so swiftly is sad. It really couldn't last forever and it's really all Griffith's fault. His wrecklessness... I don't know what he was thinking.

And the KING. He seemed so NICE. So KIND. So WARM. And truthfully, he was. Up until the torture chamber, right before he started whipping Griffith. He even admitted to respecting Griffith, and to having just and unbiased ideals (judging Griffith on his achievements and not bloodline).

Griffith and the King... both tarnishing their reputation in the readers' eyes.

Of course, I'm sure the audience still feels a bond to Griffith. But what a shame he went from being a glorious figure to a seducer in chains and stripped of his prestige. Surely Griffith has a complex plan laid out in his head. Surely there was a reason for doing it. To marry Charlotte -- perhaps? But he could've gone about it in a more gradual way, right? All he's done now is screwed multiple people.

And YET... not only did he soil it with excessive fits of rage, but he tarnished all of the readers' respect by... doing that... to Charlotte... gUuUuUh... honestly, what's gonna happen in the next chapter. I don't wanna know and yet I can't help myself from reading on.

Berserk really knows how to tell a tale of the cruelty and twisted psychology of humanity. I'm sure many of the tragedies that occur in Berserk are replications of actual events from IRL history. Reading this makes you realized how messed up our real life counterparts can truly be. What a story. Berserk maintains its title as one of the most notorious and deep manga out there, that's for sure.

Losing Guts made Griffith feel completely powerless; to feel like himself again he fucked the princess, but he not only rushed their relationship--he didn't even try to hide what he did, and now Griffith's dream is crumbling before his eyes. Guts definitely meant more to Griffith than anyone previously thought--even Griffith himself.

didn't expect griffith to turn so reckless and depressed just because guts left, this can be a huge turn of events.
