Too many people talking about "Skull Knight"... that scene was definitely badass, but come on, wtf did Griffin just do!?
I think we're starting to see a glimmer of unjustness in his character. He was always this angelic figure, but he clearly does a lot of things with only his self-interest in mind.
Gah. How unpleasant. Really didn't wanna see the adolescent princess Charlotte in these circumstances. And we all know Griffin isn't a saint -- we can imply this as he turns into one of the God Hand as was revealed in the prequel chapters -- but what I'm getting at is, I really didn't wanna see sweet, pure Griffith in these circumstances either.
As disturbed as I am, I do praise the author/illustrators' decision to implement a scene like that. Not only did I find some meaning in it, but it was a key part of the plot. It wasn't some random, unnecessary fanservice sex scene like they do in the movies... Griffith's sexual little outburst is clearly causing a great deal of progression in the plot/story. -- And now he's found himself under arrest. And Charlotte's found herself at the mercy of her father, who has discovered her virginity blood. It's cause and effect done right.
I don't know man. I dooon't know. Very uncomfortable but from an analytical standpoint, the implementation is admirable.
